Monomad challenge - BW - birds
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW - birds
The common wood pigeon is the largest pigeon in Europe. A large number of these birds are found in these regions from spring to late autumn. It can often be seen on the roof, on top of a tree, or walking around the yard, feeding. However, the wood pigeon spends most of his time outside populated areas.
Unlike them, sparrows are present throughout the year and are exclusively present in populated areas or around their edges, where there is bushy vegetation. Sparrows mostly use bushes to hide from various predators. And there are plenty of them. Cats and birds of prey are the most common.
Eurasian collared doves hide mostly in the middle of the canopy of larger trees. Sometimes only their eyes are visible from the vegetation, although they are not small birds.

Pigeons are rare but sparrows are abundant. Ah, with the passage of time sparrows number are also decreasing.
There are fewer sparrows because their living conditions have changed due to the change in human habits. In almost all cities, there is less and less bushy vegetation, which is very important for their survival. Traffic and changed nutrition are also important factors in reducing their population.
I like these compositions where you can capture the motifs like branches and birds with some backlighting and in contrast to the sky.
