Monomad challenge - BW - Fishing ponds

Title: BW - Fishing ponds

The other day, we went for a bike ride through the surrounding villages. Each of these villages on the route has an artificial pond. And such small bodies of water mean a lot, considering that not a single river flows through this area, nor are there large bodies of water.

Almost everywhere, they are of the same dimensions, and the only difference between them is how their immediate surroundings are arranged. There is usually a well-maintained path around the pond, arranged places for fishing, and possibly a row of trees. Some ponds are lit, and some are not.

Three of the four ponds we visited that day had mallards. Mallards are the most common wild ducks in this area, and these water bodies are ideal for their lives.
