Title: BW - Oak leaves, apples and acorns

A common tree in parks is the oak. It is frequently planted in parks or in tree rows due to its great shading capabilities produced by its big crown and leaves. I walk by the lakeside park, which has a large number of oak trees, virtually every day. This tree's leaves and fruit, known as acorns, dropped near the end of the fall and can still be seen in great quantities on the ground close to the trees. A specific number of leaves have what is known as an oak apple on them. It is a gall from the oak apple gall wasp, not a fruit. I brought some acorns and leaves with this amazing phenomenon so I could use a macro ring to snap shots of them.
