Monomad challenge - BW - park birds
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW - park birds
Crows are the most prevalent and abundant birds in the parks throughout the winter. During the winter, these very clever and gregarious birds only gather in tiny flocks and groups. The rook and jackdaw are two kinds of crows that frequently form groups together.
These birds also feed on the leftover food that humans have eaten when there isn't enough during the winter. They look for scraps primarily in the morning, when fewer people are around. After that, they scavenge home gardens, fields, and trash cans while consuming seeds and other invertebrates for food.
Even though they tolerate human presence and will approach near to feed, they will quickly distance themselves if they feel threatened.
