Monomad challenge - BW - reflections

Title: BW - reflections

Finally, a sunny winter day broke through the stretch of grim days. Rain, fog, clouds, and significant amounts of air pollution characterized the days before. It was not like that today. A perfect day for reflections. We discovered that only after we arrived at the lake.

Our route to the lake was lengthy and roundabout, past swimming pools and sports fields, and through a sizable park. It has been several months since the end of the season, and they still haven't drained the swimming pools.

At the lake, there were very few people. The scene was lovely and serene. Having to head back home kept us from staying long.
