DOG: YES, CAT: NO

I don't really like pets, any animal at all but I would choose a dog over a cat, yes because of the saying “the dog is a man's best friend” . We once had a dog while growing up but the dog was given away when we were moving out of that location, tha was the only dog I have ever loved 😍 apart from that dog (my dear freshly) I don't think I have ever been close to any other dog, but a cat? Nah I don't want.

Now let me clear the air on why I do not like animals, 🤧 it is because I am scared 😳 yes I am scared of animals literally any animal I am scared of all of them, many times have I been attacked by a dog when I was younger even a chicken there is this encounter I would never forget even in a hurry. I think I was six years old or seven years old if I can remember, I was going to buy biscuit from a shop and I walked past a mother hen with her chicks, mind you i was on my own and this mother hen came after my life, chased me all around till I was tired and it dealt with me I was screaming for my life until people around came out to scare it away. I was so sore and from that day I vowed never to go close to any animal not even a lizard walking past.

I might be able to have a dog as a pet that is if and only if I adopt that dog at a very tender age( a day old) and the dog grows up with me, also the dog will not just be any breed noooooo, I don't have any breed in mind yet but it must be a good breed ( my Nigerian brothers oyee). Writing this post now I think I will be getting a dog soon really soon, yes. There is something bothering me and that is. I wonder how people who buy matured dogs cope, how do they bond? Please if you know answer that in the comment section.
