MEN TOO CAN COOK

I need my man to make the kitchen one of his happiest places in the home just the same way I will make the kitchen one of my happiest places in the home, but you see this particular man I'm with right now, he needs the hand of God on his life. I'm not saying he is not trying at all. He needs to do more; I saw a video on TikTok where a guy who started off cooking Jollof rice ended up cooking something else; that is the kind of person my man is, but he is trying his cooking is way better than that.

I once told him that if he can't cook and not just cook but cook good food, I will send him back to his mother's house, the same way I saw a post on X (Twitter) that "if a woman cannot cook proper meals she is supposed to be sent back to her mother for proper training". When I saw the post, I was shocked, but that is by the way back to the main topic; gone are the days when only women were subjected to cooking; now, I would advise that both men and women should do the cooking.

I would always say my Dad is the best man ever. Why? You might want to ask, I have heard stories and I have also witnessed how my Dad would go into the kitchen and with his craftsmanship create a very delicious delicacy for us to eat as a family, growing up I noticed that anytime my mum was sick my Dad takes over the affairs of the kitchen and he is always delivering out good meals that when you that meal you would testify of the goodness of the food, everybody in my house knows how to cook and clean both male and female. I do not like beans in fact I do not eat beans because they purge me (no matter how hungry I am when I am going out I don't eat beans because I know I will visit the toilet every minute) but when my father cooks beans or maybe my elder sister cooks beans oh my god, I'm so ready to lick of the beans in the plate.

Then, when it comes to Jollof rice, my immediate elder brother is present; like I said, everybody in our house, male and female, knows how to cook, courtesy of my parents. So the endpoint here is parents, please teach your boy child also how to cook, not only the girl child, for example, in case where you give birth and all your kids are boys, you mean you won't train them up in the kitchen? If that is your mentality it's not nice.
