Andean woman | Monomad Challenge
Hello Hivernauts
On other occasions I have already told you about my fascination for Black and White photography and how proud I am to participate in the #Monomad Challenge. Portrait photography is an art form that allows me to capture the beauty and personality of a person in an image. When it comes to black and white portraits, the absence of color can make the image even more striking and dramatic.
This time, I would like to present a portrait session of Meylin, a beautiful curvaceous model and one of the most talented women I have had the honor to meet.
Meylin, with her curvy figure and her Venezuelan Andean woman features, is the muse for these black and white images. Using studio lighting with two strobe lamps to create high contrast and shadows that highlight the shape of her body, while the curves are softened to create a sensual and elegant effect. Meylin´s pose and expression are also important elements in these images, as they reflect her personality and attitude.
I am a firm believer that Black and White portraits are a timeless form of photography that can be used to create elegant and memorable images. The absence of color has that magic of making light and shadow the protagonists of the image, creating a dramatic and emotive effect. In the case of this photo shoot, Meylin with her curvaceous figure and her Andean features add a touch of originality and personality to these portraits.
The beauty of the curve is something that has always been appreciated in art, and portrait photography is no exception. The way light and shadow interact in these images creates a contrasting effect that highlights Meylin´s curves and sensuality. In addition, the choice of black and white adds a classic and timeless touch to the images, making them perfect for any occasion.
Finally, for me and in the years of experience I have in my studio, I consider Black and White portraits to be the perfect recipe for creating unforgettable pictures no matter how much this artistic field evolves over time.
This is my submission to the #monomad, May 3rd contest...
Thanks @monochromes for keeping up this great photo challenge! Consider the image of your choice for my post.
