Hello follow Hivers🥰 and @cleanplanet community. This is my first entry on the article writing. Early today, I stumbled upon a writing prompt sent by @cleanplanet . It instantly transported me back to my childhood days ,a time filled with joy, up and downs, unforgettable memories and adventures.

Am from Ohafia local government in Abia state and is a normal thing for all of the family members who lives far and wide to come back to the village on and spend together.The house would be filled with warmth, the aroma of homemade treats, and the sound of laughter echoing through the rooms.

These gatherings reinforced the importance of family bonds and the tradition of coming together to celebrate life's moments, big and small.
I am always happy to see my cousins and we all would have always discussed what we would do before we met. During Saturday's, we would go to the farm with our grandma. It was so fun. In the farm, once we are done with the harvest, we would gather firewood and make fire and roast some of the yam we harvest and eat. She always tell us stories and tell us about history of some certain building and structure around our community. We would also go to the river to swim. It was an unforgettable experience though 🥰.

MY LOVE FOR READING STORIES BOOKS AND ADVENTURES
As a child, one of the best forms of entertainment for me was reading adventure books. I was lucky to be brought to this world by my lovely parents who both had the opportunity to be learned. Normally like every other family, between both two parents, there must be a strict one and a lovely and caring one. My mother had to be the strict one. She would always buy us various books and novel to keep us busy and not to waste our time in things that doesn't matter. I later fell in love with reading and it gradually became my hobby .I remember vividly how I would immerse myself in stories of daring heroes, mysterious treasures, and fantastical worlds. What captivated me the most was the ability of books to transport me to places far beyond my everyday surroundings.

Whether it was exploring ancient tombs with Indiana Jones-like characters or embarking on epic quests with mythical creatures, each story was a journey of imagination.The special and exciting thing I loved about reading was the way it engaged my mind. It wasn't just about passively watching or listening; it required me to visualize scenes, empathize with characters, and sometimes even solve puzzles alongside them. It stimulated my creativity and expanded my understanding of different cultures and historical periods.

If given the chance, I would absolutely love to revisit those childhood favorites. The nostalgia of re-reading those stories would be a journey back to a time when my imagination knew no bounds. It would be fascinating to see how my perspective has evolved since then and to rediscover the magic that first captured my young mind.
Moreover, sharing these stories with others was always a delight. I would eagerly discuss plot twists and character motivations with friends who had also been swept away by the same tales. Sometimes, I would even add my own story lines just to make the story sweeter 😂. This communal aspect of storytelling added another layer of enjoyment, as we bonded over our shared adventures and debated our favourite moments.
Reading heals the soul and mind and is a timeless form of entertainment. I could still remember when I stayed all days trying just to finish an interesting book named "things fall apart "by chinu Achebe. One if not the most popular novel in the whole Africa. I stayed all day reading with out even know that I haven't taken anything all day. It was an interesting childhood experience I had and I would go back as a child to have more if wishes where horses
