A respected wish....ecency- star #2.

The old bookstore at the end of the street has been closed for years - until today, As I rode down the street, I could not help but notice something peculiar about the same book shop I had passed on my way out at the early hours of the day .

The sign above the door once faded and worn , now read "OPEN" in bold whitish letters. I began to have a re-thinkabout Mr Smith's decision to roll-off the memories of his late wife and move on.

Mr Smith a retired head teacher lost his wife he was very glued to some years back through sickness. Before her death the were inseparable. They did virtually everything together. One would think they were siblings because of how attached they were .

During her life time, both of them usually stayed together in the bookstore. They made their sales together and made deliveries together until one afternoon in the store while Mrs Smith was dozing off, suddenly she fell off from her chair to the floor and slumped. Before Mr Smith could rush her aid and take her to the hospital, she had passed on.

Since then he found it difficult opening the store as it reminded him of the death of his late wife. But as I walked in to the store to greet him and to tell him how happy I was to see him , he hinted to me that his wife revealed to him that she could only rest on if he reopened the book store.
