BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Weekends are more fun with celebrations here and there from wedding ceremonies, to birthdays and other celebrations you can think of. So the weekends,am always swamped with work because I go to work on Saturdays and after close of work, I just go home to enjoy the remaining hours for the day.

But there was a particular weekend that was very special for me because it was the birthday of my former boss and the fact that I love celebrating birthdays and him been the most amazing boss,I just couldn't miss it for anything in the world.

Birthdays are special days because we celebrate birthdays to remember, acknowledge, and appreciate the life of a person who has been born. Birthdays are about celebrating the life of someone. They are not just about buying gifts or throwing a party for family and friends. Rather, they are about celebrating a person's life.

So,I and my former colleagues decided to surprise him with a little get together and first off,I went to get the cake from a cake shop not too far from his office.

Getting to his office,He was surprised when he saw the cake and we all came into his office and sang a song for him.A song which says,

Ruth decided to say a prayer committing him into the hands of the lord and praying for him for him to have more bountiful years ahead.

Loveth decided to give a little speech how he has been the best boss and so easy to work with and that's why we decided to do this today for him courtesy of me because I love celebrating birthdays. And we handed over the gift we bought for him and he prayed for us.

So after the series of photographs, we had to cut the cake, took our share and ate with drinks while gisting. One of the best weekend experiences I have had in a while. I was so happy seeing my former colleagues and we had to catch up on old times.

The birthday celebration has come and gone but the memory will always linger because I had so much fun.
