Hmmmm. Not sure. I just got irritated by seeing multiple copies of the same thing. Mosstly images. I wasn't paying attention to who was sending them or whether they were commenting. I'll pay more attention and then answer the questions with more detail if it keeps happening.
I saw some re-snaps that I believe had no additional text from the re-snapper. I too wondered about that because I wondered if you accidently voted it, was the original snapper getting those votes or was the re-snapper getting them. I couldn't be sure.
Yeah. I was confused with the voting too. I voted and then saw it again somewhere else in the feed and realised that I'd probably voted the resnap not the original author which is what I wanted to do. The number of repeats showing in my feed has sadly detracted from my enjoyment.
@peakd was able to manually add SNAPS to the Splinterlands community. We will be here checking out what you have to say. Or responding to your requests
Right now a post is only marked as viewed when someone open the full post page. That will be tricky for snaps so we'll have to decide how to properly count a "view" for a snap
I think many in the community (myself included) don't really know what the plan is for the reward pool, once the SPS whitepaper airdrop phase ends.
I think that's part of the reason that we see a lot of hand-wringing about it...
I think we definitely need to be replenishing our coffers whenever/wherever we can.

I'm more thinking about whether or not we should reapportion some tokens, like the inflation we cut from LPs and maybe land if Matt's plan stays the same. We have 11 months on staking rewards and about 2 years on ranked rewards. Definitely needs consideration.
Big issue is we are eating through DAO funds like crazy just like the company was. The DAO needs to start earning interest and improving it's coffers not constantly shrinking them. At some point the DAO should be able to make enough on interest alone to fund everyone.
It also doesn't just have to be HBD though it could be earning on USDC, USDT if it wants more of a protective roll. But also it should be earning some fees off of swaps. Nothing crazy but a small amount would go a long way and there's plenty of swapping that happens.

They've made a slightly different system, but from what I understand, delegating HP to them gives you the panda token and payment in hive. Putting pandaminer in stake is like 1 HP delegated to them, it would have that effect each token in stake

Hmmmm. Not sure. I just got irritated by seeing multiple copies of the same thing. Mosstly images. I wasn't paying attention to who was sending them or whether they were commenting. I'll pay more attention and then answer the questions with more detail if it keeps happening.
I saw some re-snaps that I believe had no additional text from the re-snapper. I too wondered about that because I wondered if you accidently voted it, was the original snapper getting those votes or was the re-snapper getting them. I couldn't be sure.
Yeah. I was confused with the voting too. I voted and then saw it again somewhere else in the feed and realised that I'd probably voted the resnap not the original author which is what I wanted to do. The number of repeats showing in my feed has sadly detracted from my enjoyment.

There was a discussion whether screen views will be counted too but it will be caller “impressions”
Right now a post is only marked as viewed when someone open the full post page. That will be tricky for snaps so we'll have to decide how to properly count a "view" for a snap
We will NOT be funding the reward pool by interest earning from Staked HBD at the SPS.DAO.
I think many in the community (myself included) don't really know what the plan is for the reward pool, once the SPS whitepaper airdrop phase ends.
I think that's part of the reason that we see a lot of hand-wringing about it...
I think we definitely need to be replenishing our coffers whenever/wherever we can.
We definitely do need to be looking at the inflation buckets that are running out and coming up with a gameplan though. I think this is my next big project.
Just don't ask for stables to give away randomly, in that case you don't get paid :) My priority for keeping you paid is higher than giving away rewards randomly.
I'm more thinking about whether or not we should reapportion some tokens, like the inflation we cut from LPs and maybe land if Matt's plan stays the same. We have 11 months on staking rewards and about 2 years on ranked rewards. Definitely needs consideration.

this appears to be Aminita mascara also known as fly agaric.listed as poisonous but has a rich history of psychedelic use. the legends of flying reindeer are born from this mushroom.

I had a thought about whether Hive keys could be used to encrypt and sign emails. That would give people ways to communicate off-chain securely. I've used PGP, but that can be complex. You could have a web site that would encrypt text for you to copy/paste. Possible?

They've made a slightly different system, but from what I understand, delegating HP to them gives you the panda token and payment in hive. Putting pandaminer in stake is like 1 HP delegated to them, it would have that effect each token in stake
I'm always curious what the benefit is over me just keeping the hive myself and earning interest and APR from curation. Like they can't beat that ever and give me more?

I agree! 😅 It feels like people on Hive treat it as part of their weekday job, doesn't it? And then, like you said, they take a break from posting on weekends.
As for me, I usually post more long-form content during the weekends.
Yeah I almost feel like I should put in less time and effort on a weekend as that's when the curation/general activity drops off. I remember seeing a recent post from Dalz that showed activity in the week, I think stats would start decreasing on Thursdays and pick up on Monday.

AFAIK, considering their geographical location, it's interesting to me. I thought they lean on to US more than Russia but considering they're one of BRICS founder, that should be interesting to see.
Which country are you from? Brazil was close to the US when the previous president was in charge. He was a right-wing president. Now the current president is left-wing and he is more vocal towards China and Venezuela, and he spreads anti-US slogans. (+)
(+)The current president of BRICS is from the same party as the current president, which creates even more conflict of interests, but even if she were not, the president knows how to dialogue with his peers, he just does not know how to dialogue with his opponents. (+)
(+) This creates enormous legal uncertainty in the country, because we never know what attitude or phrase the current president will release to the press and how this will be reflected in the country's currency, which is already devalued and there are no signs of improvement.
