The Next Big Hive Meetup! .:. Road to BuzzParty 2025, Graz, Austria

Every #RoadTo... post starts with a ticket... πŸ˜ƒ In the same way this #RoadToBuzzParty began with a purchased ticket for the biggest SPRING Hive Meetup event! If you were following my previous posts, and especially the #MyHiveGoals post from almost 2 weeks ago, you know that one of my goals is to visit 5 Hive Meetups during 2025! To be honest, I'm not sure that there will be that many this year, but I know that I can't afford to skip any... πŸ˜ƒ

After the very successful last @BuzzParty meetup in Hamburg, the moment it ended, I was waiting for the next one... @tibfox did mention it last summer, but he told me to wait to buy tickets, accommodation, etc... So, when the official post came out 2 days ago, I didn't hesitate a second and I bought my ticket... Let me tell you more about #BuzzParty, how it was, and why you should consider going... πŸ™‚

The first thing that people ask is, what is the difference between HiveFest and BuzzParty... Except that Buzzparty will have only the 2nd event this year, it is important to say that it has a limited amount of participants that can attend! While on HiveFest, there can be from 50 to 500 (or 5K) participants, at BuzzParty there will be "only" 30!!! 😱 Also, it needs to be said that it is limited because of organizational reasons and definitely not because of "exclusivity"...

Speaking of only 30 tickets, most people who were in Hamburg last year bought theirs as they KNOW how great was the event! All that means that there are not too many tickets left... If I counted well, maybe 4-5 tickets maximum!!! The price of the ticket is ridiculously low (10 HBD!! 😱), so it can't be even called a ticket, it's more like a small donation!

As you noticed, I put the word "only" in quotes as that's not a bad thing at all! Having fewer people gives a lot more space for deeper discussions, hangouts, understanding, networking, and of course, creating stronger bonds!

So, how was last year? Well, the concept is similar to HiveFest... We had a day of presentation and the rest of the time was excursions and networking... Will this time be different? It could be, as when I checked the post by @reiseamateur, who is our local host this year, it looks like we will have even more Hive content at the event... Don't forget to check out his latest post about the location for presentations and networking... Btw. When you are there, check out the comments as there are a few more details in there (if you have problems with the German language, like me, use a translator πŸ˜ƒ)...

So, there it is... I will keep this post short and sweet... Don't forget to check out the official announcement post where you can find all details about the event...

I can't wait to meet you there! If you never attended any Hive meetup, this BuzzParty is for you! Hurry up, only a few tickets left! See you there!

Thank you for your time,

--ph--

These meetups should be held in some other cities as well. For that, I think HIVE need much more active members across the world.

What do you mean? The last time it was organized, it was in Hamburg, and this year, it will be in Graz. Those are two different countries.

Btw. it's not some "official" event... I mean, anyone can create a Hive meetup... For example, I would like to travel to Turkiye if someone organizes an event there... πŸ˜ƒ

Waiting for more members could take too much time... Hosting and attending these events usually helps in creating bonds, and helps with retention... ;)

That's near. But the date is questionable for me: 1-3.5.2025 ... need to change schedules...

The number of tickets is limited... Just to let you know... I'm not sure how strict they will be regarding that, but the current info is 30 participants... The last ticket that I saw had a 24/30 number... πŸ˜‰

Well, if they encourage non-Hiveans, then I don't know...

I missed yesterday's post, just read it, and googled translates the comments as suggested which I don't normally do. Thanks for the reminder
