Bitcoin tipping challenge: guess the price of Bitcoin and win 10 Hive
Hey there my Hive friends and followers!
I thought I would take a break from posting this week with just another round of my nature photography challenge rolled out on Friday but the current happenings on the crypto market has been causing so much noise that I simply cannot ignore it. Well, I said crypto market but in fact, it has been mostly the "Old Grandpa" Bitcoin that has been on fire lately. It just broke through $44k and seems to be on its unwavering way towards $50k.
Unfortunately, so far, altcoins appear to be kind of left behind. While Bitcoin might soon be attacking its new ATH, Hive, for example, is sitting at just some 10% of the old one. Not cool, I know, but during the past cycles, alts often pumped with some delay after Bitcoin so let´s still hope for some interesting price movements of our coin as well. But this post will not be about Hive. I host a regular Hive tipping challenge on Mondays so feel free to join that one too but this post will be a Bitcoin special.
I hosted the previous one approximately 6 months ago so I think it´s time to finally roll out another one ;) I guess the reasons behind the current massive Bitcoin pump are well known but it feels that many people were not actually expecting such a pump to happen so soon, given that most of the crucial events including the BTC ETF approval and the next BTC Halving will take place in a few months from now. Apparently, however, the market couldn´t / didn´t want to wait that long and we are already seeing things pick up significantly. As always with these specials, we will be guessing the price of Bitcoin in exactly one month from today and I´m really curious to see where you guys expect the price of the "Crypto Forefather" to be by then ;)

Round your guess to whole dollars (for example: $34,567).
Submit your guess from now until the payout of this post.
Only one guess per person.
No editing is allowed.
The ending Bitcoin price for the challenge will be taken from coingecko.com and proved with a screenshot taken from their website on January 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. CET.
The winner (fastest correct or closest tip) will win 10 Hive from me.
We had as many as 34 valid entries in the last round and I cannot wait to see if we surpass the number in this round.

I think the alts will come around in due time. Might not be until later in 2024 though. We are more likely to see a run and then a pull back here. Kind of like what happened in late 2017 early 2018. I am guessing.

It's hard to predict a month from now, man. My guess is 50000 dollars. I got rid of the fractions :P I would like to visit the profile of the person who made the most accurate prediction here and listen to his financial advice haha.

Rád bych viděl kontinuální růst. Ovšem trh je nevyspitatelný. Když většina vyhlíží růst, může nastat korekce. Což by bylo taky fajn. Možná by to byla poslední šance na výhodný nákup....
