Hey there my Hive friends and followers!
I am excited to announce the winner of the 117th round of my regular Monday tipping contest where the winner of each round takes 5 Hive :)
The participants of the contest were supposed to guess the price of Hive today at exactly 11:00 A.M. Central European Time (CET).
The Hive price (rounded to 3 decimal digits) at that particular moment was $0.283 as you can see in the following screen shot taken from coingecko.com today at 11:00 A.M. (CET):
I checked all submitted valid entries in the original post and the fastest correct tip $0.283 was submitted by @jhonnygo.

No, this time, letmý pohled na tabulku mi říká, že jsi to štěstí tady neměl ještě ani jednou, ale to se určitě jednou zlomí :) Mnohem radši předávám výhry těm, kteří je obratem neposílají na burzu. Tak snad ji budu moct brzy předat i tobě. Hodně štěstí v dalším kole.

Yeah. He usually waits until the last day of the round. That helps too but it´s tricky because some people forget about the challenge if they don´t submit their entries on the first day :D
That would be the goal of the contest to aim for the correct amount in the first hours, indeed as time goes by the chances increase for those who participate.
Yeah, it´s a good strategy because the later you submit your guess, the higher the chance of winning is but on the other hand, there is the risk of forgetting to submit the guess in time plus someone might have already submitted the same guess earlier so this is also something to consider ;)
Now it's up to each of us which method we adopt, but in order to keep the suspense as high as possible, it's better to participate from the beginning of the competition.
