Flower Hunting in my Favourite Games

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

Let me share some beautiful flowers captured from various games that I play. This will be a good fit for this week's Photography Contest challenge, "Flowers Hunting".

I used a shot from No Man's Sky as my thumbnail. These glowing plants with beautiful flowers are not too rare and can occur in so many different types of planets. I found them on at least 4 different planets out of a dozen I visited so far.

One of the most common would be the planets which gives you Nitrogen. They are almost everywhere where life is possible.

They glow in the dark too, making them easy to spot and good subjects to capture at night.

Another fairly common flowering plant is the red glowing plants. They do have some minor differences but all look the same on all the planets. These are good sources of Carbon and Condensed Carbon, which is a good fuel for so many things in the game. They are a lifesaver for new players.

The glowing green plant is Jade Peas and can be consumed and used for other recipes too. They are not a bad find either.

Each of the life-compatible planets has some unique flora and some flowers too. Not every flower is super dramatic and glowing, some are just small little ones making the planet much more beautiful.

I found a "Paradise" planet, which is a good planet with no environmental hazards like too much radiation, poison, cold or melting hot. In simple terms, they are planets with good balance temperatures for life to flourish and we don't need extra protection to walk around that planet.

You will find a lot of flora and fauna on such planets and the above shot is from one such planet. But not all of them are fine with your presence. Some are hazardous too.

I will share one more shot which is technically not a flower but still looks as beautiful as a flower.

Before I go to the next game, I want to share one more shot. How can I miss the caves in this game? If you want to find some glowing beautiful plants go into a cave and you will see some right away.

Let's talk about another game now. Well, you can guess which game I am about to share, it is theHunter: Call of the Wild. Talking about flowers and nature and not talking about theHunter feels like a crime to me. xD

The best map for some flower hunting is for sure Cuatro Colinas Reserve located in Spain. It has a lot of sunflowers and lavender fields.

Btw, which one do you think looks more beautiful? The sunflower or the Lavender? Both in the game and in real life. I love both but if I had to choose one I would go for Sunflower in both.

There are many little Daisies spread all across the map too. You have to lie down to take these shots as this game doesn't have a photo mode, just an in-game camera which can take pictures of what the character is looking at.

Hunting flowers in a desert is a tough ask but I wanted to do it as I have not explored enough of this map. I found a lot of cacti in this one. This next map is called Rancho del Arroyo, situated in Mexico.

I nearly gave up but found a planet which had small pointy flowers growing out of its tip.

Btw, sunflower is such a cool flower that many games have it. I played a bit of Minetest, a Minecraft open-source clone, and it had flower biomes with Sunflowers too. Ignore the blocky graphics but some people love flowers in Minecraft too. So, I thought I would finish this post by sharing one.

I hope you enjoyed looking at them. Flowers help make the world of gaming so much more beautiful. I had fun hunting for these in different games.

Thanks for reading...

Until next time...

Wow. This is like the first time I'm getting to know about all these games listed above. I will watch the gameplay walkthrough on YouTube. (Maybe RadBrad has some of the videos about it)

The truth is that they are very peculiar plants, so far I have not been able to experiment with the game but I am very happy that they have finally fixed it and that it has so many players. Many successes in the contest
