Sunsets and Sunrises from theHunter: Call of the Wild

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I love to take pictures of Sunsets and Sunrises in theHunter: Call of the Wild and this week's Gaming Photography Challenge is sharing those shots with the community.

I have shared a lot of photos from this game. It is very beautiful, especially the nature. I love the mountains, forests and clouds and the day-night cycle with dynamic weather conditions makes it worth sharing. The thumbnail is from 'Vurhonga Savanna' where I explored a cave with @bemier and we saw this sunrise together. Isn't it magical?

I will get back to Savanna but first, let me talk about my favorite map in the game, 'Silver Ridge Peaks'.

The northern part of this reserve is mostly mountains and sunrises over these mountains are such an amazing experience. But these mountains are mostly covered in thick layers of clouds throughout the day and if you get lucky you will get a good shot of the sunrise like this one.

Here is a beautiful view from the highest point on this map. The entire mountain range is engulfed with clouds but the sun still managed to peak through.

Let's go back to the Savannah map. Even though this map is not the most beautiful, sunsets and sunrises are quite different from the rest. In these plains, your eyes can see far away and the sun rises quite early here.

It doesn't have mountains and thick forests so I had to be more creative while taking these shots.

Another gorgeous map in the game is the Yukon Valley Reserve, especially the region of Crimson Plains. When I was trying to take some sunset shots on this map something amazing happened. In the next shot, you can see the sun had just set behind the mountains that you can see in the background. But it is still quite bright.

I waited for it to become a bit darker to see how the cloud colour would change. It started to become very cloudy and in just five minutes from an almost clear and bright sky, it became very gloomy.

And look at that it started to Snow! I love snow and even watching snowfall in a game reminded me of a very happy memory with my friends. When we trekked to this place in the Himalayas, it was almost evening when we were just a few hundred meters away from our destination and it started snowing. All of our tiredness went away and we were happy to experience that.

You can see how the entire place changes in a few minutes. From crimson grass and flowers to white paradise. That's why I love this part of the map. These Snow storms are rare but when they come they change the entire place and you feel like you are playing on a different map.

But this is not a snow challenge so let me shift my focus back to the sunrise and sunsets. Let me take you to yet another reserve now. This one is the 'Cuatro Colinas' reserve. A Spanish reserve with a lot of unique species to hunt. A huge chunk of land is cultivated with beautiful flowers. I have shared those a few times already on Hive.

Here is how the sun rises viewed from a watch tower located on top of a hill.

Can you guess which reserve is the next shot from? Let me give you a hint, I have talked about this one already in this post. Let's see if you can figure this one out.

I will end this post with another beautiful map, the Emerald Coast, Australia. This one is a great map to hunt. A lot of animals to hunt with some good views. A beautiful coastline, rivers, lakes, forests, mangrove sections and large open plains. This one has it all. But I still don't own this map so I won't be sharing a lot of shots from this one. I will just share one calming sunset from here.

Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed taking pictures and writing about this. I play this game more to enjoy its graphics than to shoot animals. It is a beautiful game with a lot to offer.

Until next shot...

The sunrises and sunsets look really beautiful in this game. And it's also nice to explore places like caves.

Brutal the photos of the mountains and the photos at altitude, I have no doubt that if you show these images to someone who is not in the subject or does not know the game will believe that they are real. I also loved the winter photo, everything looks so empty and lifeless but very peaceful and quiet.
