Wallpaper Worth Pictures From my Favorite Games

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

This Week's Contest theme by the Gaming Photography Community is Wallpaper Worth Pictures, and that's perfect for me as I love to take pictures in-game and use some of them for my wallpapers.

Let me start with Ghost of Tsushima because I am using wallpapers from this game a lot lately. The current one that I am using as my desktop is this next shot from the lake close to the Omi village, under that bright red leafed tree where Jin used to practice his combat skills.

The colours in this game are so vivid that every frame looks like a beautiful painting. I have some more wallpaper-worthy shots from this location. I talked about Omi village in another post as well.

The more you explore this game, the more you find its beauty. There are many good spots where you can just relax and have a moment with yourself. Such a pretty game these developers have created.

There are a lot of interesting waterfalls in the one, some very small while others are massive like the following. I forgot what this one was called but it had multiple elevation points, like a step waterwall and looks so nice from a far. There was a bridge on top of it to cross to the other side. I would love to cross one such bridge in real life.

Look at the curved road that I found close to a village. There were those tall white grass on both sides of it making it look so beautiful. I had to stop and take a shot for me. It can be a nice wallpaper if you don't mind too much white on it. Sometimes, the access white colour makes the icons harder to read, haven't tried this on my end though.

If you prefer a darker background, which doesn't hurt your eyes, you can use the next one. I love the composition and art style. The little flowers on the water are one of those smaller things that make it complete.

Let's move on to another game, a game with much more realistic graphics. A hunting simulator called theHunter: Call of the Wild, one of my favourite games of all time, is just because of all the beautiful landscapes this game offers.

You will find every type of terrain here, from snowy tundra to the Mexican desert. You pick your poison.

Silver Ridge Peaks is one of those maps which made me fall in love with this game. It had huge peaks and valleys, sunrises and sunsets were too damn beautiful, animal population and variety was good too. Everything you can ask from a hunting map...eh?

Sunsets in Vurhonga Savannah are stunning too. I love to take pictures of random trees in games and real life. This one stood out the most.

Cloud cover during the sunset makes the pictures much more dramatic. I love this next shot just because of those massive clouds that were scattering the sun's rays through them.

You can see the contrasting effect when there are little to no clouds in the sky during the sunset. This one is from another reserve too.

The best part about this reserve is the flower fields it has. Got to love the lavender and sunflower field and they are a good subject for wallpapers. I used a Lavender field shot as my wallpaper an year ago. But today, I took some more shots in a different time of the day. These are not as bright as the ones I had.

Let me know which one/s are your favourite? I love the trees, especially the shots from Omi village in Ghost of Tsushima. Do you think the same? Do tell me in the comments below.

Thanks for reading.

Until next shot...

The photos are absolutely amazing man, my favorite is the first and last one. I don't know why, but I love fields of sunflowers, at least they're beautiful in photos. Too many bees in real life :P
