CCC’s Street Art Contest – A Hidden Gem in Eket
During my Coast to Coast ride, I came across a fascinating piece of street art at a roundabout in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The bold colors and intricate details made it stand out, blending seamlessly into the urban environment while telling its own unique story.
Street art has a way of transforming public spaces into visual narratives. Whether it’s cultural symbolism, historical references, or abstract creativity, it adds character to a city. The artwork at this roundabout captured my attention, reminding me that creativity can be found in unexpected places—even during a long-distance cycling journey.
Beyond aesthetics, street art often sparks conversations and preserves local identity. This discovery made my ride even more memorable, and I’m excited to share it as my entry for the CCC’s Street Art Contest.
