The Grand Castle and the Little Princess

Once upon a time, there lived a princess who was born into a huge, large and long castle. Later her mom died. The Queen, the mother of pearls. The girl's father the king, disliked all her pearls and started selling them off to other nations in exchange for weapons and military defenses.

Years pass and the princess grew into a beautiful woman with a long natural hair, smooth brown skin any perfect body buildup like her mother. The father the king was now aged and was getting sick and weary

“My daughter the princess needs to get a prince and bear me a son who will take over the throne when I'm gone.” The king said to himself. The next day, the king called his personal advisor and let him issue out a degree that any man who can get a leaf from the oldest tree in the middle of the dark mountains would be married to his beloved daughter the princess.

The news spread like wildfire across all the nations. To all the nations that the king did business with. They were happy about this (to form marriage alliance) and proposed for their sons to go in search for the leaf. This leaf had the power to cure the kings ailment and make him live longer.

Some few weeks later brave men, knights, prices from all over the lands came one after the other, bringing this leaf to the king and seeking for the hand of the princess.

The King was happy, not knowing the heart of His daughter the princess, issued another decree to stop the hunt. "This is courageous, this men has successfully fought the two-headed serpent guarding the tree," the King said. “it is time I get healed and watch my only daughter get married.” He added.

He threw a grand ball, inviting all the men who passed the test to show themselves appealing to his beloved daughter. On the 30th night, in the 8th hour the ball was thrown open. All dishes and desserts were served. Drinks from the vine and fruits all in abundance. But someone special was missing. The maidens were getting her ready.

She was dressed in the finest linen, perfectly suited green ball gown for the perfect man. Her crown was made of sapphire by the best crafts men. At dead silence, she entered the ball hall. All attention pointed towards the princess as the King announced her Himself.

Suddenly she ran, took off her heels and ran as fast as her legs could carry. She ran into a dark store room at the peak of the castle where she won't be spotted. “Mother, where are are you, I'm not ready to be married.” she cried, “I need right now,” she muttered and soaked he knees in tears.

A light from within the food bags like a spark glows. She opens her eyes. Her eye brows raises, she saw her mom's last remaining pearl in the Kingdom. As she stretches her hand to get it, the Window opens and her mom's voice whispers to her in a little echo, “follow the light, the light would lead you to your heart.”

Comforted, she starred at the pearl with hope and looks towards the window. To the clear blue skies and wonders what happens in the sunshine
