CHILDHOOD:MEMORIES THAT LAST A THOUSAND YEARS.LOH CONTEST #195
Adulthood na scam you better take am for your mind, you have to hustle make a living two for seven, nobody go ask if you don chop, nobody go send you free money, adulthood na scam. This lyrics from a particular music tagged “Adulthood na scam” rent free in my head most times when being an adult gets tough and difficult. Memories of the childhood days where I just have to sleep, wake up, eat, play with nature, go naked under the rain and remain so unbothered about where and how my next meal would come from because definetly it will come .And most importantly celebrate every moment I get, be it children's day, school end of the year party, school cultural day and most importantly my birthday because what is childhood without fun-filled memories.
Every moment of our life's ought to be celebrated be it childhood, adulthood, middle adulthood, old age but most importantly childhood bears lots of memories and ought to be celebrated even in the smallest way possible. I don't have children, but I have a little ones around me who sees me as their aunty so automatically they are my children. How do I celebrate them? The most unique thing about being a child is that you tend to appreciate whatever effort or gift is been given to you. The most important gift I can give to my children is Love. Gift wise, prayer. Infact all round .
My babies enjoy movies so well, so any little event (birthdays, children's day ,or school party) I make sure my battery is fully charged and I download a lots of movies for them. Depending on my pocket I give them gifts as well as get each of them their favourite snacks and try as much as possible to make sure that through out that day nobody calls me and nobody disturbs them ( meaning I'll be doing all the chores alone unbothered as far as they are happy and enjoying their day ). And trust me this memories lives long in them.
Then afterwards we take pictures.
And yes since I don't have my biological children yet, of course I let that little angelic child in me out . Being a baby or child for once doesn't hurt tho it's so refreshing. I recall an instance on my second to last birthday I was a matured baby , sorry I used the word a matured baby . I played around the whole compound with my cousins and sibling pouring water on me and me vibing to a very hard jam in the early hours of the morning when I just woke up from bed …. Letting myself be pampered by my parents during important occasions such as my birthdays, matriculations, and even on children's day. By the way my parents still call me on children's day to wish me a blessed and fulfilling day and most importantly pray for me too, isn't that amazing ? I sure do have the bets parents. Mummy still feeds me and shockingly still baths me
Don't gimme that look, I am still her baby no matter how grown I am and will be .
Honestly adulthood Isn’t all rosy and smooth. To be being and adult in this present economy is scary . Comes with lots of ups and downs, depression, overthinking, mood swings and worries as such we should try as much as possible to give the children around us and the one in us the princess and prince’s treatment we can in all amazing and little ways possible . Life no suppose hard o

I love you
Yes you!
Can't stay a child forever, after all we will eventually have to confront and take on adult responsibilities to live. Yet we still carry our childhood memories in our hearts. It's why I am in no hurry for my son's to grow up, though they are young adults.
