How I Make The Most Of My Free Time

One thing I don't joke about is creating space for my free time. Why should I keep working round the clock and not schedule some time to be free without doing anything but just while away time with something fun and exciting? I have always learned to prioritise my well-being and health so, I don't take them for granted, also making sure my free time is well spent judiciously.

When I need to work, I do that wholeheartedly and with dedication and when it comes to just staying away from work to relax, then, I don't hesitate to do that because all work and no play makes Jack Princessbusayo a dull boy girl even if it means just to sit down and start to gist with friends or just there without doing anything.

Free time is when you do nothing, but instead find something fun to replace that of work just to relax and enjoy the ride alongside. Most of my free time is spent on my phone because, without it, life would be boring for me.

I am a teacher who goes to work every day even though I only take classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. In between these days, I usually have free time to do something else. For someone whose habit is spending time on her phone all day would always miss her special gadget whenever I am at work, either preparing for my class by revising my lesson notes or writing out notes in preparation for the next week. Also, some teachers would want to send me to do something for them which I politely do and when I am done with all those, the remaining spare time would be me spending hours scrolling through my phone, either laughing at funny short videos on YouTube, watching downloaded movies, listening to podcasts or just listening to music while I lay my head on the table, following the song lyrics line by line.

I love it when I do not have any work on my table to do as I tend to enjoy my free time doing nothing but been on my phone. I have lots of things I do with it as I while away time. In our world today where we don't have to travel to access some materials to learn from, phones and other gadgets are available to do those things without stepping out or spending transport fare to get them. During my free time, I can read novels downloaded as PDFs or chat with my friends when I feel like it. Also what I do mostly is engage on Hive — by reading posts, commenting or just checking through my wallet to see what I have accumulated so far.

I understand the value of work and when it's time for it, I leave my phone aside to focus on it and when I am done, I pick it up to enjoy myself. With my phone, I learn lots of things in my free time like taking up a course just like I am doing currently while I spend an hour or more on it, then use the remaining time to watch movies as I love to learn from them too.

In conclusion, all I ever wanted to make the most of my free time is found on my phone like watching movies, and funny short videos, listening to music, engaging on Hive and taking up courses for my personal development and improvement in my skills.
