My Trip Back Home From My Friend's Wedding
Two hours ago, I returned from a journey I had last week Friday. I went to honour one of my friends who got wedded yesterday, which was the weekend, and it was a success.
On Friday, I woke up very early to prepare for the journey and it was a rough one at the start because I was given the wrong description, but in the end, I got to my friend's family house after being on the road for 4 hours.
Thanks to Google Map that was guiding me and the hours it would take me to get to the destination. I don't usually use a map unless it's a place I haven't been to before just like this one.
On getting there, I met lots of people working in the kitchen and getting ready for the next day.
I was part of the bridal shower train, and we lodged in a hotel for the show while the bride got dressed up very early the next day.
I only took a few photos of myself with my phone while other pictures were taken as a group with the bride, the bride and her husband and other necessary pictures with an iPhone, which was owned by one of us. I'm still waiting for the pictures to be dropped in the group so I can share them with you guys.
This is one of the disadvantages of using someone's phone to capture a day like this because you would have to keep waiting for the owner to share all the pictures with you. I have lots of amazing photos to share and I can't wait too. But in the meantime, enjoy my cute self 😎
My friend, who is also the bride assigned me a big task which was to be in charge of parking the money being sprayed on her on stage and not allowing anyone to do that. According to her, they extorted her on her introduction day and she wouldn't want such to happen again. She trusted me to handle the money for her and I am glad I did that. Also, it was my pleasure to stand up for her and earn someone's trust. That made my day yesterday.
The bride took home a huge amount of money which was over $100 being sprayed for her by people while dancing with her husband. It got to a point where I sought the help of one of her other friends to count the money together, but I was closely monitoring it, too.
When it was time to go home, I and another friend used the opportunity to follow the couples home since we were going to the same state. We actually slept at their place last night and early this morning, we took off and bid the couples a happy married life and a beautiful journey. We left the place at 9:30am and I got home at exactly 1:30pm.
Thereafter, I washed all my clothes and everything I took for the trip, had a refreshing bath and ate something before I took a little nap and started writing this post. My aunty and I will be travelling tomorrow to our hometown for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I can't wait to see my family.
That's all about my day and the journey back home from my friend's wedding. As I said, I will share the pictures of the wedding once they send them all. Happy Sunday!

A big congratulations to the newly weds.
I laughed at the part where you said you have to wait for the person whose phone you used to snap pictures to send them to you. 😂. I also had the same experience some time ago; I got tired of waiting for my pictures, and I had to give up on them.
Love the dress styles. Thanks for sharing.
