What does age have to do in the presence of love??, what does age have to do in the presence of mutual feeling, understanding, trust, and undying love??, where there is undying love, nothing else matters and I believe love is the most important factor required in a relationship, love is necessary for a relationship to bloom and bear forth good fruit and that is why love has been a preceding factor in the most long-lasting relationship of nowadays, not the age gap...
I won't be giving a counter-attack to other people's views, ideologies, opinions, and beliefs on this topic, I will only be focusing on my own beliefs and views on this topic and I will also be supporting my claim on this topic to prove a point to my audience...
What is age??, age to me is nothing but just an ordinary figure, age is just a number, and it is as meaningless as it is when it comes to relationship matters especially when love is involved, I don't believe age should be a determinant factor in finding true and honest love, I believe wherever the heart finds mutual love is where such heart should dwell forever irrespective of the age gap...
I made up my mind a long time ago to marry the love of my life, someone who loves me dearly, someone who cares about everything related to me irrespective of the age gap or difference, I believe one's heart is meant to dwell where one finds true and pure love and that is why I am saying I will be dwelling wherever my heart finds true and pure love, be it with a younger woman or an older woman, at the end of the day it is my life we talking about here and I know what I want and what makes me happy..
When I say I don't care if the love of my life is older or younger than me, I am talking about a difference of at most 3 years, I can still make do with this gap when it comes to our love working out, I won't want to marry my mother's age mate as a wife no matter how real and true the love is hehe, an age gap of ten to fifteen years is quite a lot and I can't date nor marry someone who is older than me with such age difference...
It is indeed a taboo lol, though i believe age is just a number but when it comes to an age gap of 10-15 years then such a relationship can't work out, what would i tell the world happen to me when i bring my mother's age mate home for the first time and i introduce her as the woman i want to marry lol, i trust the mother that i have, she will explain how she gave to me with tears lol...
The highest age difference I can make do with is 3 years difference, at least the look difference won't be noticeable by the public and only a few will know about 3 years gap between us as a couple...
A relationship where my wife is older than me with 10-15 years will never be accepted by the public. it will never be accepted by my parents, the world will criticize such a relationship, there won't be happiness in such a relationship, constant tears and bitterness are guaranteed in such a relationship and lastly, the lady will be the most affected since she will be accused of seducing a guy who is young enough to be her younger brother...
I won't want to be in a relationship where every day of my life is spent in tears and agony and to prevent that I have to find a woman within my age grade or at most 3 years older than me, her looks will still be intact and the difference won't be noticeable in such case...
I have seen a relationship that has 5 years gap, the lady is 5 years older than her husband but when you see them walking together, you will be forced to think her husband is older because he looks quite older than his wife in terms of looks but age-wise, he is younger than her and guess what? they are happily married with 3 kids and they are living fine...
In conclusion, I still stand by my point that age is indeed just a number in some relationships but also at the same time, it is different with a 10-15 years age gap and I as a person can only make do with a woman who is at most 3 years older than me and nothing more, that is the highest I can do for the sake of a sane love and not the other way round...

Oh yeah, age is just a number. Some people are old in age but young in mind, some are young in age but mature enough to handle life.
My husband is older than me for less than a year but I have godparents whose wife is 10years older than the husband but when you look at them and don't know about their age gap, they looks like they have the same age. Their relationship is okay but sadly our godfather died due to an accident.
Another godparents that the husband is more than 10 years older than his wife and his wife looks like his first daughter but their relationship is okay too.
You're right that age is just a number but love is what needed in the relationship.

Wow ..I like your opinion here. A certain age gap is cool but when it becomes too much, oh boy .. you are just inviting troubles to your home as far as human beings is concerned. Of course it works for some people but I wouldn't want to experiment it
