"Unbreakable Bonds: Honoring the Resilient Women in My Life" (Contest #177)

Good day, my hive family! How has your day been? There are many things to be thankful for, and one of them is having someone who guides you, understands you, and accepts you for who you are. For me, that someone is my mother and @chimegipamus, the beautiful woman in my life.

I want to wish a very happy Women's Month to all the women out there! We all know that month of March is dedicated to celebrating women around the world. It's a time to honor and appreciate the incredible contributions that women have made throughout history.

To celebrate this special month, I would like to share with you how much I adore these two beautiful ladies in my life. They have been a source of love, support, and inspiration. I am grateful for their presence and the impact they have had on my life.

A WOMAN WITH PERSEVERANCE
First, allow me to introduce the strongest woman I have ever known, my mother. Even though she was often tired, she always maintained a façade of being okay. When it came to finances, she was the one who managed everything. Our family faced numerous challenges, yet my mother remained steadfast. I have only seen her cry once. She's the kind of woman who never surrenders in the face of life's battles.

To sustain our family's needs, she applied for various jobs like being a laundrywoman, maid, and doing other cleaning tasks just to meet our needs. I admire and salute my mother for her efforts. During times when we had nothing, she would find a way to provide us even if it meant working tirelessly

Now, my mom runs a sari-sari store to cover our household expenses. My mom has a habit of feeling unwell if she's not doing anything, so she always finds a way to keep herself busy because her body is accustomed to work. She used to work in various jobs, and now she finds joy in running our sari-sari store. Sometimes, our store has good sales, but there are also times when it's slow. However, my mom never loses hope and continues to persevere. That's why I am proud of her.

My mom is also very hands-on. In the mornings, she's the one who cooks for us. When it comes to cleaning, she's extremely thorough. It's as if she wants to do everything herself and she doesn't want us to help because she takes care of all the tasks, even though she's not very good at it. But I understand my mom because she really loves us, especially my brothers. I can confidently say that my mom is the best.

A WOMAN OF FAITH

Next, let me introduce you to the second strongest woman I know, @chimegipamus. She is the wife of our pastor, and I met her when I was 11 years old. I got to know her when she and Pastor were teaching God in our barangay. To make a long story short, I started attending their church services and eventually developed a deep connection with God. Ate Mich, or @chimegipamus, taught me a lot of valuable lessons. She showed me how to be strong, and she has always been there for me during the most painful moments of my life.

I saw how Ate Mich cried because of a lot of problems that came into her life, but she remained strong. I also witnessed how much she loves the ministry of God. I learned a lot from her just by seeing her resilience and strength, which inspired me to be strong as well. We spent 7 years together, and I witnessed how she would rise above her problems. She became like a second mother to me, guiding me and scolding me whenever I made a mistake (hehehe). Whenever I felt like giving up, she was always there for me, motivating me to continue serving God. I want to express my gratitude to her for that.

A WOMAN FULL OF LOVE

These two people showed me love and became my support system. They are the strongest women I have ever known. They have always been there for me when I couldn't bear the pain anymore. I want to thank God for blessing me with two beautiful women in my life.

In this life, it is rare to find someone who will support and guide you. God will send someone, not just your mother, to help you. So always be thankful for what you have right now and show how much you appreciate their presence in your life. Treasure your memories with them.
