Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Fear of the dark
(Edited)
Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!
This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.
Why Mischievous?
We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.
This week's theme : Fear of the dark

Hi guys I'm back, hehehe
I'm not usually afraid of the night or the dark, but there is something that is quite frightening and makes me scream at the top of my lungs, when I walk around the house at night and in the dark everything around me becomes cloudy, I can perceive other beings nearby but I don't even see them and I lose the knowledge of the space around me, my heart accelerates and my breathing becomes deep, I feel the objects with my outstretched hands and walk slowly, stealthily, trying to hear the slightest noise of who is stalking me, when suddenly my greatest fear becomes reality, I feel a stabbing pain that makes me numb, my body shudders and at the same time becomes rigid, my conscious mind asks me what happened? and after the scream I can only utter one word, shit, fuck it, I hit my tibia. 🤣
That's the most terrifying thing I can feel about the dark and the night. @qurator
When night comes and silence reigns, the only thing that scares you is a baby's cry!
!LOL
The heavy downpour of rainfall in the asbestos sheet above the roof and the barking of the dog especially after midnight, fears me a lot.
I have always loved the night and the darkness.
Above all I have loved the night at weekends with lots of parties with live music, fireworks in the popular festivals, etc.
However, everything changed when I entered this old railway tunnel under the Perineos that separates Spain and France in the town of Canfranc.
I went through it to visit the underground laboratory for the analysis of subatomic particles, but once you get 500 metres away from the laboratory this is what you see.
And when I turned on the car lights, what I saw was this kind of entrances and exits on the side of the tunnel, with some rats running around and strange noises that reminded me of a typical b-movie where naive people go towards a tragic end. Despite being accompanied, I felt a certain fear.
