Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Invent a Holiday

What would your custom holiday celebrate and what traditions would it have?

Lazy Holiday: A Day to Celebrate Rest

Can you imagine a holiday dedicated especially to the lazy? After all, what could be better than an official day to do absolutely nothing? A holiday where the only commitment would be to relax and let time pass leisurely.

When would that day be? How about the first Monday in February? Start the month off on the right foot... in the hammock! But honestly, any day would be perfect, as long as it was set aside for the lazy to rest without guilt.

More than just a holiday, it's a reminder that, despite its fun and suggestive name, the Lazy Person's Holiday could go beyond a simple commemorative date. It could be a way of making people aware of the importance of self-care. Rest is also necessary, and there's nothing wrong with taking some time for yourself. Sometimes slowing down is just what we need to recharge our batteries and take care of our mental and physical health.

You don't even need many instructions for the types of celebrations for this commemorative date: a day in the park, having a picnic, lying on the grass or simply enjoying the silence at home. The important thing is to stop, breathe and enjoy the moment. Whether with family, friends or alone, the goal is one: to slow down and enjoy life in the laziest way possible! Because, after all, resting is also a way of living well.

My celebration would be about going barefoot for a day. They say that being in direct contact with nature is beneficial for the organism, so this festivity would seek for people to discharge those negative energies that affect their moods and also their health.

It would be held in an outdoor park, which should be reached in sandals to make it much easier to get rid of footwear and enjoy direct contact with the grass.

Everyone should bring something to share and there would be dynamics in the style of Yoga or Taichi, in order to help people understand their emotions and know how to express them properly, releasing everything that ails them in their subconscious.

It would end with a sharing with someone you do not know, making a recap of the experience, while having a snack before going back home.
