Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | The Invisible Made Visible

MM.png

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : The Invisible Made Visible

Use photography to show something typically invisible to the eye, like wind or heat.

It's easy to perceive the light of fire on a night, as it shows us the things around it and brings more life to the environment. But heat is something we only feel, even at a distance, it reaches us. Perhaps, just by looking at a picture of fire, we can imagine its heat. Is there something psychological in this?

The Invisible Made Visible = My Entry
IMG_7525.jpeg

When the wind picks up and waves at the fire, causing sparks to fly! These photos, in my mind, encapsulates movement of wind and heat all in one.

I love watching flames dance in the wind!

This topic reminded me immediately about my trip to Lapland where I 'saw' the Northern light. It wasn't that clear with my eyes but when you took a picture with a camera, you could see it. My camera wasn't as high quality as the pictures circulating online of the northern light, but I'm still glad I managed to capture it! :D

When we study, we learn about the universal Law of Gravitation, an invisible force in the universe that dictates how the principle maintains the balance of everything that exists. It is an invisible force that is applied to countless processes in our daily lives, in some cases, it gives us the idea or a strange sensation, as if there was something "holding" a certain body in the middle of the void.

Another principle that guarantees the balance of bodies is Newton's First Law, when the sum of all forces applied to two or more bodies is zero, in one of the situations, the body tends to remain in its state of rest, as shown in bottle below. "An invisible hand holding the bottle, the balance"

Growing up as a child, it was difficult for me to sleep in my room because of the darkness and loneliness. I always ran away from it.

Gradually, the transition into adulthood kicked in and my eyes began to open to the sweetness of the world. The sweetness tasted like chocolate.

Little did I know that adulthood comes with a great responsibility that is very difficult to carry.

Life began to happen as I began to witness the bad side of life. Many things started happening at once. Failed plans, the feeling of being stagnant in life, failed relationship (unfaithful partner), failed business and investments, family troubles, friends disloyalty and back stabbing, and many other things.

Gradually, I began to embrace the darkness and loneliness as I now find comfort in it. I became colder, stricter and less friendly. I began to think well without those company (the friends and relationships). It was like I became Nagato from the Naruto series. I began to love the darkness. The darkness began to comfort me, guide me through prosperous paths, made me whole and granted me what I needed.

Sadly, the same darkness and loneliness I ran away from because I was scared of it, this same darkness whose goodness "was invincible" to me, became my friend and my companion. the loneliness became my lottery ticket to make it big because i get to think straight when I'm lonely. The darkness and loneliness basically "became visible" to me after life happened and that's where I found vindication. This why I'm sharing a picture of it. My friend. Hehe

Thank you for reading.
