Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | Wake Up Different

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

This week's theme : Wake Up Different

"": Write about your first day experiencing life as the opposite gender, focusing on your immediate reactions, interactions, and the unexpected challenges you face. Keep it clean, no need for squeaky clean. ;)

Congrats !!! To all the winners.
Here is my entry to this week question - life as an opposite gender

Getting up early morning to see a change from my once envied female figure to a male one. Oops...I can't believe my eyes, the unexpected transformation over night, especially when watching the mirror right infront of me.

At a glance, Is this the real me? We can't hide as more changes happens physically. How will I face the people? What will happen if my spouse get to know this? What am I going to do? Above all, my self conscience.

Oh! Its month end and today I will have to meet the milkman, the Newpaper boy, go to the electricity office to pay the bill, to the grocery to cover the pending bills, the list is endless...how will I ever go with such a change in my figure. Will they trust me? How will I convince them.

Ok, Relax! Time to think over. After all, as a lady I did not get my privileges to travel alone and enjoy life as I desire, so why not make use of this opportunity atleast for sometime. So I tried to fit in with a costume that fits to my body in physical sense. And, here goes me to explore the unexpected. Freedom at midnight!!! Aah...

When waking up, it would be necessary to check the new situation in the lower parts... having confirmed the new modification, a breakfast in a bakery would be very welcome!

Take a shower, wash your hair, various products available. I do not know any! Choose an outfit? What are the possible combinations? It would probably be tragic!

A visit to the bathroom and other challenges begin... without practice using the toilet, is there a chance of missing your aim? Perhaps. Cleaning would be a problem too, lack of practice would probably cause unnecessary mess!

A really difficult situation, as if I were a baby in a new world to discover!

I don't think I would be the first to notice my physical change. I would definitely wake up to the scream my wife would make when she realized that she woke up hugging a woman. On the other hand, my first reaction would be to pinch myself since I would surely think it was a dream.

After a while I think I would come out of the denial stage and move on to acceptance. If it is a different body I could also opt for a new identity which would allow me to start a new life. New opportunities open up before me and new things to explore.

I would have to learn many things that as a man I didn't even know existed. But what I definitely would not change is my sexual preference. I think I would stay without a partner or I would try with someone of the same sex.

I'm just imagining how loud her voice will be. Lol.

The neighbors may rush in, call 911 or something. Haha

I would probably start to have a look at all the beautyproducts my girlfriend has, trying to figure out what they are and what they do.
I would use some makeup and be sure I look good.

Will check out some sexy clothes and utilize being a good looking woman. (Probably experiencing the negative side as well like people shouting to me when walking on the streets etc.)

Afterwards I'll just continue my life as I don't expect it to change that much :p

Lol.. I will not want to be a female, I'm happy with the way I am. Hehe.

If tables turns and I wake as being the opposite gender, the first thing I will do is to go to the mirror, scream out my lungs and start praying for a change. It will be a long prayer and I may even add fasting, maybe God will hear me and change me back to being a guy.

I will always be indoors because it will feel very weird and very difficult to adapt. I would not want to call anyone neither will I want to talk to anyone.

After calming my nerves to the best I can, I will cal my family immediately to break the news. Their reaction may be worst than mine. Haha.

It will be very difficult to cope. The constant mood swings, the excess talking, being annoyed and jealous for no reason e.t.c nonono,i can not imagine myself passing through all those. Always nagging, always looking at he mirror every time to check if my bums are adding up, trying to get a guy to notice me e.t.c they are too many, and i have not eve talked about the painful menstrual cycle, high libido afterwards and childbirth.

I honestly can't not cope being a female. I'll have to go do a surgery to get my male gonads back and also get shots of testosterone for my masculine nature to come back. Yuk, I can't beat female.

Imagine waking up and discovering that you can now juggle mental tasks, solve a thousand things at once, and still have time to conquer the world. That's what women do.

It would be interesting to wake up as a woman, if it were a temporary experience, I would learn a lot. I would start by exploring hormones and emotions. What would it feel like to be desired or to have a lot of flirting directed at me? I hope I am a beautiful woman so the experience would be complete. But it could also be annoying, would it really be good all the time?

An even bigger challenge would be going through periods of cramps and menstruation. I wouldn't know what to do! I would probably feel like I was dying with all the blood coming out of me.

Ah! It would be good to be stronger than they imagine, no weak sex. I would be sure that women hide the game and are much stronger than we imagine! I am tempted to believe that under their layers of grace and charm, they are made of steel. I would be sure of that if I woke up a woman.
