Arrow Peak Shrine - Mountain Stories.
There's an ongoing contest in @gamingphoto and the theme is Mountain Stories where I'm not partaking as a contestant as I'm a judge of the contest. But I'm trying to show off some photos I captured recently in Ghost of Tsushima.
This was the second time I reached this spot. There was a lady guarding this broken bridge the other time and I didn't try passing to the other side that day.
I found this note there that says these torii gates lead to Arrow Peak Shrine, which is the sanctuary of Ansari, kami of agriculture.
I started looking around to get on top of the mountain this time as I was there for this task only so I was not giving up like the other time.
I was looking for an alternative way so I found it after jumping off some cliffs and there's the alternative way, a cave path.
After went to the other side of the cave path, I was even more confident about climbing up to the mountain so I started using those edges to jump around.
I had to go for some big jumps where I was not sure if I'd pass it or I'd fall down and at last I went to the other side of the broken bridge.
There I found another note that says The Mongols came in the night and the father of the storyteller was luckily on watch who set fire to the bridge and they ran away.
The father was shot by an arrow through his leg. The storyteller cleaned his fathers wound and the father was sleeping then with a fever.
I moved forward and I found another burned bridge and as it was at a good height, there was risk on trying to jump from this side to that side like I did with the lower bridge before.
Before looking for an alternative way to get past the burned bridge, I stopped there to checkout these mind-blowing views.
I got another note where the storyteller said his father couldn't stop shivering and they were running out of food.
I found an alternative way to get to the other side of the burned bridge which was not so easy to pass and I had to be careful with those jumps and at last I reached the other side.
I found the last note where the storyteller said his father died last night and he was so tried but he couldn't sleep. The storyteller was writing the last note from above this mountain and he mentioned its beautiful up there.
So, the storyteller was not bluffing. It's freaking beautiful up there.
There was this shrine that I could pay respect but it don't go with my religion in real life so I didn't try it, I just checked out the views around.
I could at last see how tall this mountain was though it didn't look so high from the ground level.
I was above the hut there at this moment. And this is the end of my mountain story this week. I'll try to find more mountain stories later.
That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.
All the screenshots are my take from my play using the in-game photo mode and I tried canva to edit the thumbnail. Borrowed the logo of the game from deviantart.
