She watched the girl grind at Jonas. He grimaced as he felt the girl's body against his. As soon as he saw Rose watching them, he immediately pushed the girl away.

She stood up.

'There's a girl I need to slap,' she thought as she made her way towards Jonas.

I see two things here @ridgette. First, Rose sat and watched the other girl approach Jonas. Whatever Rose and Jonas' relationship, I felt that Rose should have noticed Jonas' response before she became incensed. He grimaced, but pushed the girl away ONLY after he saw that Rose was watching. A red flag perhaps. If the girl's actions annoyed him, he immediately could have turned and walked away.

What would have happened if Rose had not been paying attention? Faking dislike and not reacting in an appropriate way is underhanded. What is Rose protecting in the end?

Relationships are complicated, and too many females are caught looking the wrong way.
