This time of the year arrives when everyone is ready to enjoy those magical days, everything is joy and revelry. The senses are exalted surrendering to the carnival debauchery, which invades the days of color, games, music, and dance.

But not everything is happiness in these days for some time now there have been multiple murders. The murderer's targets are young women, who are found strangled with piano strings, some claim to have seen a man dressed in black with a mask next to the girls, who later appear lifeless.

It is difficult to know for sure, they are only rumors instilled among the community. What is certain is that the police have been put on high alert to ensure the development of the carnival festivities in tranquility. Detective Caxemina has been assigned to the case and the relevant investigation.

It is somewhat complicated to monitor so many people in disguise, any one of them could be the criminal being sought. The girls are advised to be very careful and watch out for anyone who approaches them, so if they find them frightening, they should stay away from them and seek help.

Detective Caxemina, as a woman, may have the advantage of catching the aggressor before he commits the terrible act. The operation is mounted on the first day of Carnival. The police are spread out in various parts of the city, and those who look suspicious are immediately detained to verify their identity.

Caxemina is attentive, mixed in the colors of the day, her mission is clear, to look for clues and select possible aggressors. She sees a guy in disguise harassing a girl, she immediately goes to arrest him, unfortunately, he is just a drunk with raging hormones. She keeps searching through the crowd but has only managed to placate the emotions of the drunken men.

As night falls the authorities are still hard at work keeping the peace amidst the alcoholic fumes floating in the air. After a long time something catches Caxemina's attention, a man dressed in black and a white mask with an elongated nose, strolls around, circling as if looking for something. The detective begins to follow him, he has a very elegant gait, and she has noticed that he circles the girls trying to seduce them.

After a lot of walking around, the suspect stops next to a pretty young girl, they start talking and the flirting is instantaneous. Detective Caxemina is very attentive to what may happen with this fact, after a while of conversation the two leave, she follows them closely without losing the detail of any suspicious movement.

They go behind a building, darkness envelops the place. A terrible roar is heard, the detective draws her gun and approaches the scene, ordering the suspect to get up slowly and move away from the girl. She turns on the flashlight and looks at the two half-naked lovers, expressing their passion. Frightened the man throws up his hands, and the girl runs away all embarrassed. Caxemina blushes and immediately leaves the place.

Over the radio phone, she hears: "Attention all units, a girl has been found strangled near the river, report immediately". Caxemina runs to the scene and looks at a piano wire next to the lifeless body, looking for more clues, but only finds the broken mask and some blood on it. It may be a good clue to start unraveling the murders.
