#STB Coffee Prompt Week 66 | Coffee and love

"You should try it, you don't lose anything by trying," my best friend told me.

"I don't know, I'm already sick of meeting every fool who isn't worth it." I sipped my coffee with some disenchantment at my friend's proposal.

"Come on, cheer up, it'll be fun and who knows maybe you'll meet your prince charming." Alexa winked mischievously as I continued to drink my dark happiness. "Besides I know the program focuses on coffee to get a mate, imagine a coffee lover just like you."

Suddenly my interest was piqued by that comment. I am a huge coffee lover and I can't conceive of my life if I would be lacking my dark deliciousness. "All right, you win, let's go to the contest, just don't expect me to find the great love. You know very well that I'm an independent woman who doesn't believe in love with a partner."

"Yeah, don't worry, we're just going to have fun, haha." Alexa let out a thunderous laugh that caught the attention of everyone in the cafeteria.

We left the place, leaving behind that delicious aroma that bewitched us. I didn't know what I was going to say or how to react, but my friend Alexa had already put me in this predicament, so I had no choice but to go ahead with what I had agreed.

We showed up at the studio with my friend Alexa. The presenter of the show gave us some tips on how to act in front of the camera and what to do in case I suddenly got too nervous. After the brief induction from the host, I was set up for make-up, while they continued explaining the dynamics of the contest.

"Finally, miss, remember that you should only ask questions regarding the coffee and most importantly have a great time in our program 'Coffee and Love'." The host said goodbye with a big friendly smile, while I was still a bundle of nerves running down my spine.

After a few minutes, I was called to the recording set. My friend Alexa was in the audience and she was giving me a big smile with a gentle wave of her hand. The assistant took my arm and sat me on a wooden stool with no backrest that seemed as high as a stairway to heaven.

The presenter came out of the shadows and with his charisma encouraged people to shout and applaud. Then with his great voice, he gave the beginning of the program. "Good evening to all the viewers of our program 'Coffee and Love'. Today we will try to find a new couple to join us because of their affinity for coffee. I invite you to give a round of applause to our contestant tonight and to the three mysterious gallants who will try to conquer the beautiful damsel with their coffee knowledge."

The crowd exploded in jubilation and applause for the contestants and the glowing lights were focused on me. The presenter would give me the floor to ask my coffee-related questions.

"Coffee maker 1, if a love relationship was like a brand of coffee what would you look for from that brand?" I would read my question trying to hide my nervousness.

"Well, what I certainly look for is that it's delicious, and fills me with energy and warmth in case it's cold. Haha." A mischievous smile could be heard behind the wall.

"Coffee maker 2, According to your character, how would you define it if you had to compare it to the ways of coffee roasting?"

A long silence was heard and then an answer was heard behind the wall. "I hadn't thought about it and that's why the delay in answering, I think it would be a medium roast neither as bitter nor as sweet. We are not always cheerful and we fluctuate in those shades of bitterness that life presents us, but that in a certain way make our life have that pleasant flavor and that addiction to live, at least that's how I see it."

"Coffee maker 3, if your ideal woman were like a coffee brew, which one would she be and why?" He finished reading my questions waiting for the last answer.

"I would like her to be like espresso, so strong that I feel her in my whole being. With a little sip, it would make me vibrate with excitement and awaken me to happiness every time I see it. It came to my mind like a big shot of adrenaline activated by caffeine and intensely passionate like the color of espresso."

At that point, the presenter was speaking and asked me, "So Miss, which beau gets the chance to go out on a date with you?...”

At this point in the story, I would like the commenters to help me choose and tell me in the comments which beau had the best answer. I'll read them and together we'll decide who had the best answer and deserves the date.
