Changing for the better/Contest #220 [Esp/Eng]
Hola Ladies
Hoy me encuentro en esta linda comunidad una vez más, gracias a la invitación de mi querida amiga @alizmarpaola, y aprovecho de invitar a mi amiga @valenpba a participar.
Las dos preguntas de esta semana son bien interesantes, sobre todo porque nos llevan a revisar cómo estamos cuidando de nuestra salud, que definitivamente es nuestro mayor tesoro, y en mi caso me ayudan a reafirmar dos de mis propósitos de año nuevo, que son mejor la alimentación de mi familia y realizar alguna actividad física, y esto por dos razones principales. Obviamente la primera es cuidar de mi salud, y la segunda inculcar a mis hijos la importancia de hacerlo, que aprendan a comer de manera inteligente y por supuesto entiendan la importancia del ejercicio en sus vidas.
Algunos cambios en cuanto a la alimentación
En este punto debo dejar claro que no soy fan de esas dietas locas donde eliminas prácticamente todo un grupo de alimentos, ya que pienso que cada grupo alimenticio tiene una función importante en nuestro organismo, basta con consumir cada grupo con moderación y de acuerdo a los requerimientos específicos de cada quien.
Dicho esto, en casa hay dos cosas que este año he decido cuidar un poco más y es la ingesta de frituras y los azúcares, ya que su consumo en exceso no es nada bueno para la salud, pero como les digo, no se trata de eliminarlos por completo, sino moderar un poco su consumo y quizá más adelante pueda eliminar "casi" por completo las frituras con la compra de una freidora de aire, en cuanto al azúcar es un poquito más complicado, porque de verdad amo los postres, pero si bajo el consumo de harinas, podemos darnos un gusto de vez en cuando.
Un poco de movimiento
Con respecto al sedentarismo, mis chicos tienen bastante actividad entre el colegio y las actividades extra, incluso mi esposo, ya que es docente de educación física, en mi caso este punto va conmigo, y es lo que más me cuesta, ya que trabajo desde casa, y confieso que nunca he realizado actividad física de manera constante, por lo que este aspecto debo tomarlo con mayor seriedad, ya que se trata de mi salud.
Así que tomando en consideración esto, hemos decido (mi esposo y yo) retomar las caminatas en la playa, pero en horas de la tarde para ver qué tal nos va, porque el calor en la isla es terrible y es algo que particularmente no tolero en lo absoluto, me pone de muy mal humor, así que haremos el intento, y si no resulta, entonces recurriré al cardio en casa ya que tengo algunos videos para tal fin, así que como ven, tengo un plan trazado, falta ponerle empeño para mantenerlo en el tiempo.
Así que quizá a mitad de año haga una revisión de mis metas para ver que tal vamos y les paso a contar.

Today I find myself in this beautiful community once again, thanks to the invitation of my dear friend @alizmarpaola, and I take the opportunity to invite my friend @valenpba to participate.
This week's two questions are very interesting, especially because they lead us to review how we are taking care of our health, which is definitely our greatest treasure, and in my case they help me to reaffirm two of my New Year's resolutions, which are to improve my family's nutrition and to do some physical activity, and this for two main reasons. Obviously the first is to take care of my health, and the second is to instill in my children the importance of doing so, so that they learn to eat wisely and of course understand the importance of exercise in their lives.
Some dietary changes
At this point I must make it clear that I am not a fan of those crazy diets where you eliminate virtually an entire food group, as I think that each food group has an important function in our body, just consume each group in moderation and according to the specific requirements of each person.
That said, at home there are two things that this year I have decided to take care a little more and that is the intake of fried foods and sugars, since its consumption in excess is not good for health, but as I say, it is not about eliminating them completely, but to moderate their consumption a little and maybe later I can eliminate "almost " completely the fried foods with the purchase of an air fryer, as for sugar is a little more complicated, because I really love desserts, but if I lower the consumption of flour, we can treat ourselves from time to time.
A little bit of movement
Regarding the sedentary lifestyle, my kids have enough activity between school and extra activities, even my husband, since he is a physical education teacher, in my case this point goes with me, and it is what I find most difficult, since I work from home, and I confess that I have never done physical activity constantly, so I must take this aspect more seriously, since it is about my health.
So taking this into consideration, we have decided (my husband and I) to resume the walks on the beach, but in the afternoon to see how it goes, because the heat on the island is terrible and is something that I particularly do not tolerate at all, it puts me in a very bad mood, so we will try, and if it does not work, then I will resort to cardio at home as I have some videos for that purpose, so as you see, I have a plan drawn, I need to put effort to maintain it over time.
So maybe halfway through the year I will do a review of my goals to see how we are doing and I will tell you about it.
