Phone Photography: Getting ready for Cousin’s Wedding
Weddings around the world are celebrated with much fanfare. I've never heard of a country where weddings are done very simply, but it's true that every place has its own traditions and culture that make weddings unique. In Pakistan, weddings are quite lengthy, consisting of 3 to 4 events, with a lot of money spent. Not just the bride and groom, but everyone involved dresses up nicely, with new clothes, and the ladies wear full makeup. Everyone tries to look their best.
A few months ago, my cousin got married, and it was celebrated with great enthusiasm. I danced a lot at this wedding and made everyone else dance too, but unfortunately, I haven't received the videos yet. I’m sharing with you the pictures we took at home before going to the wedding.
Everyone, both children and adults, dresses up nicely for weddings. In the first picture, my parents are standing with their grandchildren. I really liked my Mother’s suit, and my Father’s clothes were decent.
This is our little princess, my brother's daughter. I took her pictures in her grand outfit, and she wore "khusse," a type of handmade shoe that looks very beautiful. You can probably see her happiness in these pictures.
Now, here’s my brother's son, who looks happy in his new clothes and very excited to go to the wedding. His smile is unique and lovely. These children are my life.
In this picture, I took a photo of both of them together. Children's different antics bring us joy.
Here is our little princess again, giving her sweet smile.
And here is my wife; she was so happy. She loves going to weddings. Her smile is just amazing; I adore it!
Now, here is my older son. When I told him to strike a pose, he started giving poses. He always does the opposite of what we say, but we still got some good pictures.
Here’s my younger son, full of energy and always moving around. It's hard to keep him still for even two seconds for a pose. He looks here and there and keeps moving. We had to take several pictures, but his antics are endearing, and he gets scolded too sometimes.
Now, it's selfie time. I needed to take my own picture too. The result from the front camera wasn’t great, but it was okay. Everyone was dressed nicely. I took these pictures with my Father's Tecno Spark 8C mobile phone for this contest, but I didn’t have the time to transfer them from his phone until today. Phone photography is an excellent contest for people like me who enjoy mobile photography but aren’t professionals. It gives us a chance to share our pictures, and with practice, we might get even better at taking photos.
Such events really bring a lot of happiness. Both of your kids are so cute. Good luck with the contest! :)
thank you !!!
