AFRI-TUNES WEEK 145 - ZUCIYATA (My Heart) by SOLOMON LANGE (Cover)
Hello AFRI-TUNES family, welcome to week 145 and also to my blog. I am Rubiiess and I will be singing a cover of ZUCIYATA by SOLOMON LANGE.
ZUCIYATA is a Hausa word which means My Heart. The song tends to make us realise and to understand where our hearts should be. Man is indeed worried with the troubles of life and with such, man tends to think of numerous things, how to get breakfast, how to go about work for the day, utility bills, house rent, school fees, needs of family and so the list goes. With these, it is understood that the heart of man is always busy with calculations on how to go about life. Lives struggles tend to keep the heart of man crowded with so many things which of course some are irrelevant.
Now, with all these things and thoughts in the heart of man, a space for God is supposed to be created, by default a true believer is suppose to make space for God in his or her heart. The sole duty of man is to serve God and that cannot be achieved if God is not our number one, if our thoughts are not filled with things about God. So we need to learn to always create space for the things of God, for the word of God, the work of God and His assignment to us. Our hearts are always in what we cherish the most as the Bible has cleared stated:
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" Matthew 6:21
When our hearts are filled with thoughts about God, it helps us refrain from temptations, since we always ponder on the things of God, we will always be courageous to confront lives challenges with God's word and with that, out walking with God will be so effective. Let us learn to build the habit of cleansing our hearts from the troubles of life and let God fill our hearts.
