Weekend Fun Time With My Favorite Beer

It's the weekend! I love weekends because it is a time of the week where I get to go out and have some fun. Furthermore it's a time when I get to have my favorite beer.

Today being Saturday was very fun for me right from the start of the day. There was a little bit of electrical power and I quickly utilized it in getting things done quickly. I was thinking of what to eat so I decided to work with the foodstuffs I have at hand and whipped up something delicious. Then I thought of getting a beer to go with my food since it's been a while I have had my favorite beer which is Heineken by the way. I have tasted other brands as well but it seems this one is made for me.

I went out to get a chilled beer but unfortunately since the power supply wasn't stable, I couldn't get a chilled one and I love me some chilled beer😍😍😍. So I decided to eat my food like that and go out later on to finally step it down with a chilled beer.

After a while I got prepared and I went to the bar not too far from my place. I know they will definitely have cold drinks since they don't always wait for electrical power before putting on their generator.

When I got to the bar, I was lucky it wasn't crowded as it used to be but I was told the generator was off not quite long and they would have to put it on it when it's time for the football match where a lot of people would troop in.

Well since I came for beer, I settled in and ordered two bottles of chilled Heineken. Looking at it on the table gave me this warm fuzzy feeling that I couldn't describe with words.

I opened the first bottle and poured it in the glass cup that was served alongside the bottles and as I took my first sip, it went straight down into all the corners of my being 😍😍😍😍. I closed my eyes and allowed it to sink in for few seconds before taking another sip and another.

Since there was no power supply, I settled for watching a movie on my phone while relaxing. Frankly I could have just taken the beer back home but I felt since I was already out, why not enjoy my time outside?

It didn't take long before more people starts trooping in for the football match and I knew I won't have to stay for too long because the once quiet place would soon be in uproar.

It's not that I dislike football,I just don't understand it's mechanics and let me just say I am more of a fickle supporter. I can only support teams or clubs that always wins and my loyalty might change if another club starts winning 😃😃😃.

So back to my beer story. I finished the first bottle and started on the second. I wanted to order a third bottle but I decided against it as I went alone so I wanted to make sure I can walk on a straight line 😃😃😃 and besides I love to drink responsibly. Don't get me wrong, I sure know how to hold my liquor but I felt two bottles is enough at the time.

I got back home knowing I was able to have my favorite beer for today. Well tomorrow is another day 😃😃😃 and I could always go out for another drink before I resume back to the rigours of work.
