LOH Contest 191: Para mi yo joven. [Esp/Eng]

I guess we've all had a time when we needed a lot of guidance. Some of us had it and some of us may not. But, if we could help our younger selves, it would certainly save us a lot of headaches.
Unfortunately, that's how we get to adulthood, learning from our past mistakes. And that's okay, when we are children and we are learning to walk we fall and get hurt, until little by little we become strong and can run safely. Therefore, we should not deny our past mistakes, because they made us what we are today.
Now, taking into account the question presented by this initiative of the @ladiesofhive community: What ideas or recommendations would I give to my younger self, I would tell him to learn from a young age those qualities that by nature he may not have, we could talk about patience, kindness, compassion and many others.
I was the kind of teenager who was indifferent to the problems of others, I didn't care if others were suffering, and my suffering I didn't share with anyone. Because of this, qualities like empathy and compassion were practically non-existent in me. Today I am happy to say that I am a different person, but I wish I had been like that when I was young and that it was not so difficult for me as an adult.
I would also tell myself to listen more carefully to advice, I could have saved myself a lot of trouble if I had just listened to advice and been obedient! Stubbornness is normal in adolescence and few are those who learn the hard way, but when we grow up we understand that, if we had put into practice certain well-intentioned advice we were given, perhaps we would have done better in most of our lives.
Answering the second question: What has been one of my greatest achievements throughout my life? Without a doubt, the moment when I started to become aware of the consequences of my decisions. When you reach that point, you regain control of your life, that's when before you make a decision you understand whether it will end well or badly, and of course, you make the best decision. Even if it goes against your tastes and desires. That is maturing, understanding that not everything we want to do will be good for us, and that if it will not be good for us, it is not really something we want in our lives.
There will always be times when we feel bewildered and lost, but it's easy to get back on track. Because you have learned who your unconditional friends are, you listen to the advice and think about how every step you take will affect your present and future life.
I am very happy to have participated in this initiative. Thank you for the opportunity.

Stubborn streak during teenage years, had we listened we may have avoided some bumps and bruises, we never do. Looking back on life it's difficult to alter much as time has passed we can only adjust as we move forward.

Completely agree with you. Teenage time is different and we had to go through a lot of changes during that time. Guidance would have been helpful but in the end, we learned, took lessons, and moved on in life...You have shared some good advice, it will be helpful for future generations indeed...
Thanks for sharing...

Dear beloved Hive creator,
Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.
As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.
I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.
Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.
That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.
Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
