I belive in that same thing, a soulmate doesn't need to be a romantic one, and I also think it is easy to be blind if you are all about finding a soulmate...
What is a soulmate? Mabye people have a certain idea of what it should be and miss out on love cause they only looking for that wrong thing.

I belive a soulmate can be a romantic one for sure, but I also belive it can be a close friend, a family member or anyone you feel connected to.

I belive when you find the RIGHT one and the connection is real ❤️
Then it is meant to be.
