1st Chess960 Hivechess Torunament

Hello everyone.
Chess960 or Fisher Random Chess is quite exciting chess variant. Having 960 different starting positions and after several moves your game is already complicated . If opening theories are not your thing Chess960 offers excitement and fun.

I can described it as more relaxed yet more complicated variant.
Having monthly at least one Chess960 tournament should be enough for the nerves. I was thinking about first and last week in the month to be fun chess but lets start slowly.

While playing Chess960 there are more blunders and more mates in couple of moves and each game you are basically on new field. So it somehow gives more opportunity to everyone to try their best to win some games.

Rewards

16 Hive Total
Since it is first Chess960 tournament rewards will be for top 5 places.
5 Hive for the first place ,4 Hive for second, 3 Hive for 3rd, 2 Hive for 4th and 1 Hive for 5th place. And to add one more 1 Hive for biggest upset of the tournament.

For the first Chess960 tournament mode is 2 + 1.

Rules
In order to participate you need Lichess account and to be part of our Lichess team.
Hivechess team (password is "Hive")
And you have to play at least 3 games in tournament (biggest upset award eligibility)
