Hey guys
We are in week 25 of the Vibes Web3 music competition. For this week I would like to share with everyone my new version of the song "Girl on fire" by Alicia Keys. I did the a cappella version and I hope my performance gives meaning to anyone who hears it.

The community is looking at the week as a week where we are going to go back to the songs from the 80s and 90s. The song I am presenting is not from that era but it is a very old song that made its way globally since the date of its release in 2012, since then most have been enjoying it. Being a Gen Z, I couldn’t find a perfect old school one for now so I decided to try this particular one and it turned out great.

I have probably only composed to sing R&B songs a few times because of the difficulties I have every time I try. There came a time when I had to convince myself that R&B is not for me since I only rely on the African musical style. Composing Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys was a bit stressful because of how hard I had to work before I got it right, especially the chorus part, but thank God, after a lot of effort, I was able to do the cover and something nice was achieved.

Estamos en la semana 25 del concurso de música Vibes Web3. Para esta semana me gustaría compartir con todos mi nueva versión de la canción "Girl on fire" de Alicia Keys. Hice la versión a capela y espero que mi presentación le dé significado a cualquiera que la escuche.

La comunidad está observando la semana como una semana en la que vamos a volver a las canciones de los años 80 y 90. La canción que estoy presentando no es de esa época, pero es una canción muy antigua que se abrió camino a nivel mundial desde la fecha de su lanzamiento en 2012, desde entonces la mayoría la ha estado disfrutando. Como soy de la Generación Z, no pude encontrar una vieja escuela perfecta por ahora, así que decidí probar esta en particular y resultó genial.

Probablemente solo haya compuesto para cantar canciones de R&B unas pocas veces debido a las dificultades que tengo cada vez que lo intento. Llegó un momento en que tuve que convencerme de que el R&B no es para mí, ya que solo me baso en el estilo musical africano. Componer Girl on Fire de Alicia Keys fue un poco estresante debido a lo duro que tuve que trabajar antes de lograrlo, especialmente la parte del coro, pero gracias a Dios, después de mucho esfuerzo, pude hacer la portada y se logró algo agradable.
