Hello, beer lovers! 🍻

How are you? Here, the damn heat has finally subsided. At least for a day, I hope. I can, however, cool off with a beer.

365 #beersaturday was on Saturday, but I got stuck somewhere, so the post is only today.
Two German, more specifically Bavarian, cans are straight from the fridge.

Kulmbacher Mönchshof Hell

Brewed by Kulmbacher Brauerei, Kulmbach, Bavaria, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.9% ABV, IBU N/A.
It's Helles-style beer, a classic clean German pilsner with a smooth, grainy, malty flavor and a soft hoppiness.

What do the Master Brewers say?

Mönchshof Bayerisch Hell is just as the connoisseur expects it to be: Golden in color and “b'sonders mild” in taste thanks to its restrained, fine hopping.
Traditionally highly fermented, three selected hop additions at the right time give it its balanced, soft note - bitterness is barely noticeable. An enjoyable part of Bavarian life and beer culture!

I have never had a beer from this brewery. This will be a first.

The beer is golden in color, has a solid head, and has no particular smell. It goes down the throat smoothly. The sweetness is first in the mouth, but it is not disturbing. A slight hop bitterness follows. I can taste hints of caramel, herbs, and bread.
In the aftertaste, everything slowly disappears except the slight bitterness.

It's a drinkable, fresh, and tasty beer. The flavors are very harmonious, nothing too much or too little.
It's too bad I can't get it locally. I would have had some in my fridge.

Spaten Franziskaner Premium Weissbier

Brewed by Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu, München, Bavaria, Germany.
Can, 0,5 l, alcohol 5.0% ABV, IBU 12.
It's a Weissbier, or Hefeweizen style, German wheat beer with banana and clove yeast character.

What do the Master Brewers say?

From Munich Since 1363. The original fresh wheat beer taste. Franziskaner Hefe-Weißbier Naturtrüb is a natural and elegant Weissbier from Bavaria with a lush white foam. The copper golden wheat beer unfolds with an aromatic fragrance and harmonious banana and citrus fruits. Ingredients: Water, Wheat Malt, Barley Malt, Yeast, Hop Extract.
