The Man Of Joy | LOH #188

~ When one earns joy, he tries to never let it go. For he realizes that life without Joy, isn't life at all.~

The thought of how someone looks at me has always been in my mind.
A little vain? Yes I know...
But alas, we're all human, and we all need that little bit of self esteem of being looked at it in a warm light of respect.

How do people see you?

This question asked by the LOH community, is one I began asking myself during the beginning of my teen years.
When a lads eyes finally matures and he realizes and begrudgingly accepts the fact that not everyone has the devilishly handsome looks of Flynn Rider.

It was even more drastic for me as I sported a mark from a nasty home accident which left my left hand slightly bent at an angle, unable to fully straighten nor bend.

The question of how I was looked at always made me squirm inside, the fact that I'm skinny really didn't help either 😂.
Without the graces of physical charm, I decided to buff up my other attributes.

Building my understanding on amusement and emotional intelligence to the peak.
There's a meme about it he can make you laugh, he's a keeper.
Oh I didn't just want to be kept. I wanted to be locked up in a safe white glass, never to be parted from again.

After my fourteenth birthday, when I finally learned the meaning of my long and complex Edo middle name.

People from the Edo tribe who have a middle name starting with the prefix 'Oghogho' would understand what I mean by long and complex ^_^

My thoughts changed again on how I wanted to be seen.
I belief that your name takes a great influence on your life. Names hold power, your name is your essence and knowing the meaning of your name is the only way you can emulate it.
My name means joy -at least the prefix does- and I wanted to be seen as that.
Pure unbridled joy.

To do that, I made sure I had to accept joy, find joy in everything I did, then be able to share my joy to others.
Try to be the funniest guy in the room. Be the person people come to when they're down. Be called a therapist, joy-giver, etc.
Such titles give me joy. The fact that I could help ease their pain and anguish in this insufferable world and the appreciation for that is one of the best forms of joy I've experienced.

Naturally, I'm a pretty amusing and at the same time an easily amused guy so I believe Joy is a pretty nice name.

How I want to be Seen?

I always want to be seen as the guy that has joy. Joy is a must.
And even though one can't really control how others view him, I can always choose to laugh about how others tend to see me.
Some conspiracies I've heard are truly amusing 😂.

Haha I don't want to ask for the full spelling of your native name but I like that it means joy hehe.
Keep spreading the joy, those other conspiracies hold nothing against you lol.
