Greetings friends! I hope you are very well. I recently released new dragon-like creatures “still without names I think”, I really liked them a lot and I had the idea of making each of them as human characters but with chibi style. Something like a mini collection, I will be developing this idea intermittently so as not to bore you, that is to say, I will upload one of this collection and one with another theme for a change. In this opportunity we will use the Dragon of fire type, I imagined her as a girl with red dress or fire tones, we will conserve the horns and the wings of her arms although they are little functional I believe that they look very pretty to leave them, I was thinking if it would be better long hair but this would subtract something of protagonism to these wings, as also a short hair makes her look a little rougher. This character keeps many references of the original character.

Saludos amigos! espero estén muy bien.
Hace poco salieron nuevas creaturas "aun sin nombres creo" tipo dragón, la verdad me gustaron muchísimo y me surgió la idea de hacerlos a cada uno como personajes humanos pero con estilo chibi.
Algo como una mini colección, esta idea la estaré desarrollando de forma intermitente para no aburrirlos, es decir, subiré uno de esta colección y uno con otra temática para variar.
En esta oportunidad usaremos al Dragon de tipo fuego, la imaginé como una chica con vestido rojo o tonos fuego conservaremos us cuernos y las alas de sus brazos aunque son poco funcionales creo que se ven muy bonitas dejarlas, estuve pensando si quedaría mejor cabello largo pero esto le restaría algo de protagonismo a dichas alas, como también un cabello corto la hace ver un tanto mas ruda.
Este personaje conserva muchas referencias del personaje original.

Process/Proceso

This is an idea in development, initially I wanted to make the chicha playing with fire with an easy XD or panic expression, this idea was discarded to make something a bit more serious and transmit the opposite, a rough and more serious character.
Once the idea is clear it's time to make a sketch in red color, at this point we adjust the proportions and correct everything that we are not going to use.
as a final step we make the lineart in black color, we use a textured brush.

Esta es una idea en desarrollo, inicialmente quería hacer a la chicha jugando con fuego con una expresión fácil de XD o pánico, dicha idea fue descartada para hacer algo un tanto mas serio y transmitir lo opuesto, un personaje rudo y más serio.
una vez clara la idea es momento de hacer un boceto en color rojo, en este punto ajustamos las proporciones y corregimos todo lo que no vamos a usar.
como paso final hacemos el lineart en color negro, usamos un pincel con textura

We applied the base color, as you can notice many of them changed in relation to the final version, originally I was going to use somewhat softer tones without much contrast.

Aplicamos el color base, como pueden notar muchos de ellos cambiaron con relación a la versión final, originalmente iba a usar tonos un tanto más suaves sin mucho contraste.

It's time to make the details, a darker background makes a better contrast with the fire, that's why I decided to change it, even the red of the character's dress stands out much more.
This type of shading is a mixture of strong shading and a little bit blurred in certain parts.
a detail that I was forgetting to mention is the “horn” in the middle is actually a lock of hair reference to the horn that the original character has.
as a final step we give details in the eyes using blue color as in the reference.

Es momento de hacer los detalles, un fondo mas oscuro hace mejor contraste con el fuego por eso decidí cambiarlo, incluso resalta mucho mas el rojo del vestido del personaje.
este tipo de sombreado es una mezcla de sombreado fuerte y un tanto difuminado en ciertas partes.
un detalle que estaba olvidando mencionar es el "cuerno" del medio en realidad es un mechón de cabello referencia al cuerno que tiene el personaje original.
como paso final damos detalles en los ojos usando color azul al igual que en la referencia.

Finally, after correcting the colors and details, this was the result.

Friends we are at the end! as I mentioned this will be the first of a small collection of dragon girls inspired by the holozing characters, as soon as they have names I will be sharing them here.
I plan to make a final presentation of all of them together when I complete all the characters of the collection.
