We started with the basic pose of the characters, I needed references for this but none of my friends could help me with a photo, so we will do it imagining how the girl would look like sitting on the bed, holding miu, in another discarded idea I thought of making her lying down, maybe I will do it for a future drawing.

Iniciamos con la pose básica de los personajes, necesitaba referencias para esto pero ninguna de mis amistades me pudo ayudar con una foto, asi que lo haremos imaginando como se vería la chica sentada en la cama, sosteniendo a miu, en otra idea descartada pensé en hacerla acostada tal vez lo haga para un dibujo a futuro.

We make the sketch on this layer using the red color, I had to modify, fix and correct many things until I was satisfied.
Once the sketch is ready we proceed to draw the lineart, we use black color and brush with 50% hardness.

Hacemos el boceto sobre esta capa usando el color rojo, tuve que modificar arreglar y corregir muchas cosas hasta estar conforme.
una vez listo el boceto procedemos a dibujar el lineart, usamos color negro y pincel con dureza 50%

We start the color stage, for the wall I used a background with fabric texture and a soft light on the right side, this to emulate a light source like a window, that layer will not carry much detail.
The next step would be to apply all the base color, here we can see that I used different layers for the bed.

Iniciamos la etapa del color, para la pared use un fondo con textura de tela y una suave luz del lado derecho, esto para emular una fuente de luz como una ventana, esa capa no llevara mucho detalle.
El siguiente paso sería aplicar todo el color base, aquí podemos ver que use diferentes capas para la cama.

This step is a bit tedious but very important, we create each layer with a different color, I call this a base color. I don't know but that's what I call it hehe.

Este paso es algo tedioso pero muy importante creamos cada capa de color diferente a esto le llamo color base. no se pero asi le digo yo jeje

Time to give depth to the drawing, for this we must always take into account where the light comes from or at least the major source of light.
We start with the skin, I feel that it is one of the parts that takes more time, at least to achieve the result that I like to achieve.
For the shading of the skin I used a slightly red tone and a subtly darker brown, for the lights I wanted to apply strong lights, as this gives very good relief.
In several parts it is easier to use the selection tool, an example of this is the leg where I want strong light on one leg and shadow on the other leg.

Momento de darle profundidad al dibujo, para esto siempre debemos tener en cuenta de donde viene la luz o al menos la mayor fuente de luz.
Iniciamos con la piel, siento que es de las partes que mas tiempo lleva, al menos para lograr el resultado que a mi me gusta lograr.
Para el sombreado de la piel use un tono ligeramente rojo y un marrón sutilmente mas oscuro, para las luces quise aplicar luces fuertes, pues esto le da muy buen relieve.
En varias partes es mas facil usar la herramienta de selección, un ejemplo de esto es la pierna donde quiero luz fuerte en una y sombra en la otra pierna.

After giving details to the skin, we continue with the clothes and hair, for the yellow lines of the hair I used a new layer with the multiply effect.
Well this is the part where I start to experiment, time to give details to Miu.
For this we will apply the shadow trick on the sphere, followed by more details to simulate the hair.
I was able to make the character completely round, but I wanted to be creative and make it all tousled, I think it looks adorable like this.

Después de darle detalles a la piel, seguimos con la ropa y cabello, para las lineas amarillas del cabello use una capa nueva con el efecto multiplicar.
bien esta es la parte donde empiezo a experimentar, momento de darle detalles a Miu.
Para esto aplicaremos el truco de la sombra en la esfera, seguido de esto le daremos mas detalles para simular el pelo.
Pude hacer el personaje completamente redondo, pero quería ser creativo y ponerlo todo despeinado, creo que se ve adorable asi.

To finish I want to give special attention to the eyes, because they are the soul of the whole work, there were also some details to finish like the crown.
Now that I think about it... who goes to sleep wearing a crown?
Another detail that I must mention which is obvious that you already noticed is the change of clothes, in this case I tried to imagine how it would be a pajama but with the style of her normal clothes.
I also thought about adding another filter, but it would look too cold, we'd better leave the warm colors.

Para finalizar quiero darle especial atención a los ojos, pues esto son el alma de toda la obra, también quedaban algunos detalles por terminar como la corona.
Ahora que lo pienso... ¿quien se acuesta a dormir usando una corona?
Otro detalle que debo mencionar el cual ya es obvio que notaron es el cambio de ropa, en este caso trate de imaginar como sería una pijama pero con el estilo de su ropa normal.
También pensé en agregar otro filtro, pero se vería muy frío, mejor dejamos los colores cálidos.
