Process/Proceso

We start with the basic shape of the character, we add details as we design the armor pose and even how the background will be, I was thinking of a very saturated battlefield, but that would give the character the opportunity to pose.

Iniciamos con la forma básica del personaje, vamos agregando detalles a medida que diseñamos la pose armadura eh incluso como será el fondo, estaba pensando en un campo de batalla muy saturado, pero que diera la oportunidad al personaje posar.

Once we finish the sketch in a new layer we make the lineart, for this as usual we use a brush with a hardness of 60% and black color.

Una vez terminamos el boceto en una capa nueva hacemos el lineart, para esto como es de costumbre usamos un pincel con dureza de 60% y color negro.

Well, we started adding color in different layers, we even added a simple two-color background.

Bien, empezamos agregando color en diferentes capas, incluso agregamos un fondo simple de dos colores.

Once all the base color is ready we can add highlights and shadows.
In the case of the skin you can only see the skin of the face, the tone that I add as a base will be the darkest one, it only remains to lighten the areas where the light hits, also add a little blush to give it a warm touch.
I usually use about 3 different shades per layer, although it can be more.

Una vez listo todo el color base podemos agregar luces y sombras.
en el caso de la piel solo se ve la del rostro, el tono que agregue como base sera el de mayor oscuridad, solo queda aclarar las zonas donde da la luz, también agregar un poco de rubor para darle un toque cálido.
Por lo general uso unos 3 tonos diferentes por capas, aunque pueden ser más.

Each different layer demands its own time and detail.
But where it took me more time was in the armor, it's my favorite part of the drawing, here we can see how it's coming along.
I applied a light brown tone as if the armor was reflecting a little bit its surroundings.

Cada capa diferente demanda su tiempo y detalle.
pero donde si me llevo mas tiempo fue en la armadura, es mi parte favorita del dibujo aqui podemos apreciar como va quedando.
Aplique un ligero tono marrón como si la armadura reflejara un poco sus alrededores.

When I finish with the armor I can continue with other parts such as the weapon, being metallic I can use a color palette very similar to that of the armor.

Al terminar con la armadura puedo seguir con otras partes como el arma, al ser metálico puedo usar una paleta de colores muy similar al de la armadura.

Once every detail of the character is finished, it is the turn of the background.
This type of background, although it does not have so many details, has several layers to achieve some depth, from some mountains in the distance to the shape of the nearest warriors.
I took the liberty of drawing the clouds with the same brush with which I apply base color and then blurred it in other areas, these clouds have 2 different tones that blend very well with the blue color of the background.

Una vez terminado cada detalle del personaje, es el turno del fondo.
Este tipo de fondo, aunque no tiene tantos detalles, lleva varias capas para lograr cierta profundidad, desde unas montañas a la distancia hasta la forma de los guerreros más cercanos.
Me tomé la libertad de dibujar las nubes con el mismo pincel con el cual aplico color base y luego lo difumine en otras zonas, estas nubes tienen 2 tonos diferentes que se mezclan muy bien con el color azul del fondo

And finally, after correcting certain areas and adding a couple of final details, our work is ready!

Y finalmente después de corregir ciertas zonas y agregar un par de detalles finales. está lista nuestra obra!
