We started drawing the basic shape of the character, this sketch took me more time than expected, after finishing a basic shape I made a previous sketch, then I made a last sketch using the red color to differentiate.
After correcting this was the final sketch.

Iniciamos dibujando la forma básica del personaje, este boceto debo decir me llevo más tiempo de lo esperado, luego de terminar una forma básica hice un boceto previo, a continuación hice un último boceto usando el color rojo para diferenciar.
Después de corregir este fue el boceto final.

The next step is to do an outline of the sketch layer... wow this will also take some time, but the end result is worth the effort.

El siguiente paso es hacer un delineado del sobre la capa del boceto... vaya esto también tomará su tiempo, pero el resultado final vale la pena.

It is time to apply all the base color, some people work on one area until it is finished but I like to apply all the base color first, I feel that way I can get a better harmony between all the parts of the drawing.

Es momento de aplicar todo el color base, hay personas que trabajan una zona hasta terminarla, pero a mi me gusta aplicar todo el color base primero, siento que asi puedo conseguir una mejor armonía entre todas las parte del dibujo.

We apply all base colors, including most details.

Aplicamos todos los colores base, incluyendo la mayoria de detalles.

After finishing the base color it is time to add the shadows, lights and details, the first one I did was the sword followed by the layer. In parts like the sword I applied watercolor layer effects.

Al finalizar el color base es momento de agregar las sombras, luces y detalles, la primera que hice fue la espada seguido de la capa. en partes como la espada aplique efectos de capa acuarela.

In the rest of the clothes as you could notice I used cape effects, but in the end I decided to remove them, I think it looks better natural.
The face paint layer I removed it momentarily.

En el resto de la ropa como pudieron notar use efectos de capa, pero al final decidí quitarlos, creo que se ve mejor al natural.
La capa de la pintura facial la quité momentáneamente

By applying all the details, shadows and lights, it is taking shape, and only smaller details such as the eyes are left.
Originally, I wanted to leave it with that simple background, but I changed my mind at the last minute.
I thought of a background with a window is an idea that I already did in the past, now I only had to draw it and adjust the brightness in my character so that they had logic with the new light source.

Al aplicar todos los detalles sombras y luces, va tomando forma, ya solo quedan detalles mas pequeños como el de los ojos.
Originalmente, quería dejarlo con ese fondo simple, pero cambié de parecer a última hora.
Pensé en un fondo con una ventana es una idea que ya hice en el pasado, ahora solo debía dibujarla y ajustar los brillos en mi personaje para que tuvieran lógica con la nueva fuente de luz.

Once the background is ready, and the layer where the easy painting comes out has been restored, our character is ready.

Una vez listo el fondo, y restaurado la capa donde sale la pintura fácil, así queda nuestro personaje listo.

Friends we reached the end, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did creating this illustration, this character has a lot of potential, I think I'll do another version later.
