We created the basic shape and sketch, this stage was the one that took me the most time.
I wanted to make as many references to the original character as possible, I discarded several ideas that I thought were very good but far away from what I wanted to do.
in the end this was the result.
once the sketch is ready in red color we make the lineart in black lines and transparency of 50%.

Creamos la forma basica y boceto, esta etapa fue la que mas tiempo me llevo.
Quería hacer la mayor cantidad de referencia al personaje original, descarte varias ideas que me parecían muy buenas pero se aleja mucho de lo que queria hacer.
al final este fue el resultado.
una vez listo el boceto en color rojo hacemos el lineart en lineas negras y transparencia del 50%

We applied the base color, similar to the one in the reference, at this point I was thinking of adding skin or white paint on his face....

Aplicamos el color base, parecido al de la referencia, en este punto estaba pensando en agregar piel o pintura blanca en su rostro...

Another detail was the red eyes, and to tell the truth I think it goes well with the black hair.
Another idea I discarded was to make her white hair and red eyes but I feel it wouldn't be dark enough.

Otro detalle fue los ojos rojos, y a decir verdad creo que combina bien con el cabello negro.
Otra idea que descarte fue hacerla cabello blanco y ojos rojos pero siento que no sería lo suficientemente sombría.

We start with the skin, I like to take my time to finish it, I apply a slightly red color in what will be the border with the light.
Also very subtle and soft shadows.
A very important detail I want to tell you is that the makeup will be in different layers and with effects.

Empezamos con la piel, me gusta tomar mi tiempo para terminarlo, aplico un color ligeramente rojo en lo que sera la frontera con la luz.
También sombras muy sutiles y suaves.
un detalle muy importante que quiero decirles es que el maquillaje sera en capas diferentes y con efectos.

I have the tool sai 2 in English but it's not difficult to understand, it's just that I can't get a Spanish version.
Anyway, I was going to put the makeup with multiply, but trying different effects I got this one that integrates the black and red tone, I feel it looks great!
for the lip makeup I wanted to do something like lipstick but when I saw the reference I thought this other version would look better.
I also wanted to do it with a little wear and not a perfect makeup.
At this point I tried to add some white makeup on the face... but I didn't find anything I liked so I'll leave it natural.

Tengo el tool sai 2 en ingles pero igual no es difícil de entender, es que no consigo una versión en español.
En fin, el maquillaje lo iba a poner con multiplicar, pero probando diferentes efectos conseguí este que integra el tono negro y rojo, siento que se ve muy genial!
para el maquillaje de los labios queria hacer algo como lapiz labial pero al ver la referencia crei que esta otra versión se veria mejor.
también quería hacerlo con un poco de desgaste y no un maquillaje perfecto.
En este punto intenté agregar un maquillaje blanco en la cara... pero no encontré nada que me gustara asi que lo dejaré al natural.

Now it's time to add details to the clothes.
The lines of the suit was in a different layer with the multiply effect so I keep the shadows of the base layer.

Ahora es momento de agregar detalles a la ropa.
las lineas del traje fue en una capa diferente con el efecto multiplicar asi mantengo las sombras de la capa base.

We finish with a dark background, and lights that make reference to the character.

Finalizamos con un fondo oscuro, y luces que hagan referencia al personaje.
