Just as I'm writing this post I realize that it has a certain resemblance to Homer in a salamander costume haha, I swear it was a coincidence or unconsciously I was inspired from here.

justo que estoy escribiendo este post me doy cuenta que tiene cierto parecido a Homero con disfraz de salamandra jaja, les juro que fue una casualidad o inconscientemente me inspire de aqui.

Process/Proceso

well we create the sketch always taking into account the two main references, the shape of the character glimmo that will form the cosplay.
With respect to ocean healer is a girl in this case I wanted to make her look a little younger or shorter in height.
once the sketch is ready we proceed to create the lineart with our usual brush and black color.

bien creamos el boceto siempre teniendo en cuenta las dos referencias principales, la forma del personaje glimmo que formaran el cosplay.
Con respecto a ocean healer es una chica en este caso queria hacerla ver un tanto mas joven o mas baja de estatura.
una vez listo el boceto creamos el lineart con nuestro pincel de costumbre y color negro.

We apply the base color, in the background I wanted to make an ocean and a blue sky.
To achieve this horizon I used the rectangle selection and a gradient of the same color as the water.
Later, I will apply a different tone with a brush, but this serves as a base.

Aplicamos el color base, de fondo quise hacer un océano y un cielo azul.
Para lograr ese horizonte use la selección en rectángulo y un degradado del mismo color que del agua.
posteriormente, le aplicaré un tono diferente con un pincel, pero esto nos sirve como base.

We started to give the details from the bottom, I was debating whether to do a very choppy water or something calmer with little transparency.
I say this because I wanted to use my fish brush and I think it would look very nice. “Now that I think about it, this gives me an idea for a future drawing of this character”.
the clouds were also with a special brush that I edited since the one that brings by default the program I don't like the result, that is to say it is not bad but it really doesn't combine much with the style of this illustration.
we give detail to the skin taking into account that in the upper part of the face we will have a shadow.
Now the part that took the most time was the cosplay as such, I used several shades of colors and then blur and finally highlight some areas.

Empezamos a dar los detalles desde el fondo, estaba debatiéndome si hacer un agua muy movida o algo mas tranquilo con poca transparencia.
esto lo digo porque quería usar mi pincel de peces y creo que se vería muy bonito. " ahora que lo pienso esto me da una idea para un futuro dibujo de este personaje".
las nubes tambien fueron con un pincel especial que edite ya que el que trae por defecto el programa no termina de gustarme su resultado, es decir no es malo pero realmente no combina mucho con el estilo de esta ilustración.
damos detalle a la piel teniendo en cuenta que en la parte superior del rostro tendremos una sombra.
Ahora la parte que mas tiempo tomo fue el cosplay como tal, use varios tonos de colores para luego difuminar y finalmente resaltar algunas zonas.

We continue working on the cosplay, and add small spots like the original character, keep in mind that we only want it to be similar, as it is a costume.
As a final step we highlight the lights without blurring so much.
the character is in a very illuminated place so I didn't want to apply so strong shadows.

seguimos trabajando en el cosplay, y agregamos pequeñas manchas como las del personaje original, tengamos en cuenta que solo queremos que sea parecido, pues se trata de un disfraz.
como paso final resaltamos las luces sin difuminar tanto.
el personaje esta en un lugar muy iluminado por lo que no quería aplicar sombras tan fuertes.

We give the final details on the eyes, and as a final step we correct the colors.

damos los detalles finales en los ojos, y como paso final Corregimos los colores.
