A memorable trip - "Run for red"

The colour red is as bright as a Christmas eve. So bright throughout the day. A warm hello and Meŕry Christmas greetings to all the friendsof Hive.

Once a famous beach now a resting place for the Ministers of the state.

When ever I visit this place, it gives me nostalgic memories because this was the place I was born. Fortunately lucky enough to complete my schooling and college. But later I had to move to my hometown, the place of my origin in South Kerala, India.

After 22 years, I revisited this place. It has changed a lot. To mention the traffic has increased simultaneously increasing the pollution. No more pedestrian shopping, as shopping Malls have taken over. Open lanes, parks and beaches have become conjested, making it impossible for peoples to move even at a short distance.

From personal point of view, I was happy to meet few of my school mates and college mates. Most of them have become too busy, but even from the busy schedule they took some time for a short gathering. It was such a beautiful memory. For some time, we became school students refreshing our golden days.

While meeting them I understood life is only once so enjoy to the fullest. A carefree life was school life with no responsibilities. It was funny indeed how we looked years after. From them on we never failed to keep in touch until today.

I was happy to show my children, the school and university where I completed my education. But the open playground was replaced by a store. We had some precious corners in school where few of our friends met regularly.

As it was a weekend, the school remained closed. My desire to see my last year classroom was not fulfilled. The security was not ready to let us in without the permission of the superiors, which remained as a dream until today.
